Like Chris above, I'm somewhat of a cheesecake purist. I love it plain. Sometimes, a bit of fruit can complement it really well, but far too many people go way overboard on it. They smother it in chocolate, peanuts, raspberries, caramel, coffee powder, bacon...until the damn things can't stand up anymore. That's like taking a hot guy and making him wear everything in his closet at the same time. Stop covering it up. It's cheesecake. It's delicious as is. Stop fucking with it.

Other desserts I like:

* classic "wedding" cake - white cake with buttercream frosting
* fresh-baked sugar cookies or snickerdoodles
* ice cream sundaes

YES!!!! I forgot about this.

I am more of a savory / sour person over sweet, and key lime pie is awesome. It is especially good when it is rather tart and has that fresh zing of lime rind on the top.

Lemon Meringue Pie

Always hated the "meringue" portion of this. Village Inn has this "lemon supreme" pie, which is just the lemon part of the lemon meringue pie placed on top of a cheesecake-type thing. Despite my puritanical take on cheesecake, I am a fan.
