I was probably about 2. And we were living in the apartment. And I had a potty. And my Dad was there cheering me on. I don't remember applause, but I recal some sense of control...that I could drop a deuce in a plastic thing and not have my diapers full of shit. So as far as crapping went, I was early in the game.

As far as letting that sweet warm piss release into my diaper...I have no recollection of when being damp and cold made me realize I should just pee into the potty as well.
 
I think I remember my younger sister, two years my junior, finally trained, but I don't think I remember my own.

Do remember learning to tie my laces, and ride a bike.
 
I remember teaching myself when I was about 4 to tie my own shoes and tied them that way until I was an adult.

And yes. the thrill of first learning how to ride a bike.
 
Interesting that you bring this up…I don’t remember my first, but I’m sure it was adorable, because I was. My doggy Patch had a tumor removed from his jaw on Monday, the anesthesia is playing havoc with his daily…so I’m kinda waiting for his first as we speak….
 
Just to put everyone at ease..Patch just dooked one up..so YAY!
 
I can remember all my Nieces and Nephews sitting on those little plastic potties next to the big toilet and going for the first time. They would clap their hands as well.
