your gay icon thats not gay

My top fave perfomers who love their gay fans: Kylie Minogue, Madonna, Xtina, Kathy Griffin, Eva Longoria, Janet, Sarah Jessica Parker, J Lo...just off the top of my head.

I must concur 100% with ShannonE, although one could argue that both Madonna and Janet are gay men trapped in women's bodies, which would disqualify them as non-gay celebrity icons.

Marianne Faithfull - okay she has had her gay moments having affairs with women in the past, but she mainly lives a "straight" life.

I just love her rasping "drugs and cigarette damaged" voice, her deep meaningful lyrics and the way she has always been a fighter and has stood up for what she believes in.

AND, Stars are Blind isn't too shabby of a song especially for the summer. Even though you can't hear her over the 9 or so backup singers and thousands of dollars of studio magic. LOL
I do admit I don't entirely hate her. At least she's never fake. She's always been who she is now. And I'm sure she's gay friendly.

"Jealousy" was cool but "Turn It Up" is so good!! I think that's the next single. (Confession: Paris is one of my "friends" on myspace!) I'm know it's not really her running the page, but I'm sure it's someone from her camp at least. I kinda feel bad that we're steering off topic from the thread. I tend to do that. A little.
