Your Halloween Music Favorites

Though it's not exactly "Halloweeny" :) , the Ron-Dells bring you "The Martian Hop"

And, if you were terrified by Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds". . .prepare to swoon over "The Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" :rotflmao:

^ Funny movie! (The sequel, not so much.)

"I think I'm going to miss her.
A tomato ate my sister."

And, if you were terrified by Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds". . .prepare to swoon over "The Attack of the Killer Tomatoes" :rotflmao:

That used to be a most-wanted record for my collection, years ago. (I LOVE ABSURD STUFF...) I kid y'all NOT...in 1986 I finally found a copy for myself in a thrift shop in Wasilla, Alaska! Yes...the same town that made Sarah Palin famous!

Let's face it, for Michael Jackson fans nothing competes with "Thriller".

But I'm not your typical MJ fan!

When "Thriller" was released it pushed off the radio airwaves the Michael Jackson song that will forever be my Halloween favorite:

And now Everybody, get ready for a different kind of Halloween Music experience.

Screen-Shot-2014-11-25-at-8.53.46-AM.png

When released by, "The Korgis" in 1980, "Everybody's Got To Learn Sometimes" was the song that caused people to stop in their tracks. Nothing else sounded quite like this at the time and it has become a very curious song from a long, long time ago.

I hear Halloween in each gentle opening note. Singer/songwriter James Warren takes over with lyrics that take their sweet time falling outta his lips. Never rushed, never hurried - James Warren lets the words fall in their own good time. The song is slow and sweet, almost hypnotic is a way - to the point that you almost don't notice that there's something strange about this song.

Strange and eerie, "Everybody's Got To Learn Sometimes" is that gentle, innocent little song that travels right up to and dances on the of: The Realm of the Surreal.

Happy Halloween JUB

This one has always creeped me the fuck out, fitting for All Hallow's Eve.

And there's this....

Always loved this one (from Stephen King's Sleepwalkers)

HAPPY HALLOWEEN Everybody!!!

From 1969 comes my new favorite Halloween song.

The Blue Effect is a Czech progressive rock band and while my language skills are limited, I've been told that this song has something to do with a graveyard.

That's good enough for me and my Halloween brain, lol.
