This topic is a little vain but I got to thinking, there are a couple of things I go through to try and make myself look better and wonder if anyone else does similar things for their appearance like brush their teeth once a week like I do (jk i brush everyday) :D

So what do you do, if anything or your just naturally beautiful, to enhance your facial appearance/put your best face forward?

I don't do much except wash my face with a cleanser and toner. Use an SPF moisturizer everday, I wear contacts instead of glasses, do my eyebrows so they aren't bushy, and sometimes use a whitening gel for my teeth.

Not really. I have been cleaning my face with rubbing alcohol for some time, however. Kills the bacteria and germs while keeping my face free of acne! Doesn't try out my face either, which is very fortunate. I don't really do anything fancy. [kidding]I just wake up attractive I guess![/kidding]

Wouldn't alcohol make your skin dry and give you acne?

I exercise more now. Wash with a body wash I like. Brush my teeth. Don't bother combing my hair - just "push it back". And thus ends my exciting toilette. :)

I usually don't do much to improve my look. That being said there are thing that I do normally. I wash my face with cleansing cream before I head outside, brush my teeth 2 times a day(one time with baking soda), flossing before I go to bed. Other than that I don't comb hair, I don't apply hair gel and I don't apply cream on my face. That's it.

I lost a lot of weight. Which is really all I needed. I also use some acne pads because my skin is sensitive to bacteria.

Other than that, loosing all the weight did more wonders for me than anything I could do.

Oh...I guess getting a mohawk gave me a little edgier look. And now that I am thin enough to wear clothes I actually like, i bought some nice stuff and am looking good.

It's even culminated in a guy hahaha LOVE IT

gotta click through to see the scene.

I am a total homo! I was my face, use a toner, use a moisturizer, and normally put on a little foundation to kind of even my skin tone out and such.

As for the hair... wash, condition, dry, apply a thermal protectant, straighten, use a smoothing cream, a little styling cream, and finishing spray.

There's no way I could make it to work if had a routine like that every morning. Guess thats why my hair is 5mm long:D

i have my clinique face regime I follow religiously, and it's actually working as you have to take care of you face as yo get older, don't want to look like a leather glove. aside from that no, nothing more. depending on the occasion I will put some product in my hair that's about it though.

 I agree, I could probably peel my skin off after two days or so ..

I also just do the "basics" .. then I try to swim 2km at one day per week, and in general I walk everywhere that's not farer than ~15 minutes away, often I also jog those distances :)
Nothing more, really :)

I do all kinds of things.

I go for exercise
Get a hair cut every 4 or 5 weeks
I have to do eyebrow interventions with some regularity lately
I have a face cleaning regime that I do using some great product that I got at a spa
I get massages frequently
I comb my hair several times a day
I have one hair that grows out of the front of my nose that gets weed wacked every week.
Tons of things....

when i was younger i did sorts of procedures to look better but didn't really need to, older now i really need to but i don't, i just try not to stink.

It doesn't dry out my face, at least not to the point of irritation or anything. As far as I can see, the alcohol has no negative results. For some, it will dry out their face. My mom and my older sister cannot use it. For me, when I have a pimple or something of the nature usually a dab of rubbing alcohol will get reduce it the following day or two. I've been using it since I was 13 and it does wonders :gogirl:

I shower, shave, and keep my hair and beard trimmed. I don't use any creams or whatever for my face, although maybe I should?

I brush my teeth and wear deodorant so I am at the bare minimum presentable to be around in public.

If someone complains, then maybe I'll do something different.
