When your mouse dies, how long will it be before you get a new one?

If it died in the morning, I would go about 6 or 7 to get a new mouse (and buy a spare if I can)

If the mouse dies at night, I would use the keyboard for the rest of the night, but I would get one about 2 pm the next day

I can't go long without a mousey ;-)

You?

I've dealt with several on life support, but never had one simply pass away unexpectedly.

Anyway, I always have a few extras kicking about. And, with Ethernet connection, I can control all of my PCs with one mouse whenever I feel the need.

I've been watching the prices of 27" touchscreens, but they're still quite expensive, and I don't really want to sit that close, anyway.

I only started using my Chromecast last week and I have had it for 2? years. I just didnt use it. My t.v. has a moronic volume control. To get to the maximum level (100), you have to press it 100 times!! What idiot invented that 'feature'?

Feel free to expand this topic. I was thinking of "What you like about your computer. What you don't like about your computer"

I'm annoyed with my bookmarks. A slew of bookmarks from long ago, keep adding itself onto my preferred set of bookmarks that I use now. I delete the oldr ones and it comes back. I ahve exported my good set, and then imported it and the damn old bookmarks latch on.

Below: 'Websites to remember' is my last 'good' bookmark and 2019 is there. Go away!!!

When you think about it, the computer brought in stuff that may have not been in our lifes before. For example, Youtube. We werent watching videos before 2005 when Youtube began. We watched MTV. That was it. And we were watching hour upon hour of porn.

I hate when the computer locks up / slows down and you sit there for 15 minutes for it to get going again.

My first drawing on a computer . . . And dont steal it. Copyright infringement!! Copyright infringement!!

I have a spare mouse in the file cabinet or I would just take the mouse off the desktop or laptop and run to the store in the morning.

I once had pet mice and the grandma got a tumor and ate her grandbabies. I hate when that happens. Oh you mean computer mice

Tbh, the only reason why I'd buy a mouse is so I could feed it to my pet snake.

Oh, wait, this thread's about a mouse for a PC. My laptop is touch controlled, so no need for a mouse.

I had a mouse named Ichi. He escaped from his aquarium at Petco and literally crawled onto my hand while I was cleaning cat cages in the back. I put him in the pocket of my shirt and he stayed there. The employees were so impressed they gave me a little cage set-up for him.

He became entertainment for my cats. They sat pawing at his cage all day. He gave zero fucks.

He lived for almost three years, which is amazing for a mouse. One day I found him dead half on his wheel as if he was going to get on it, then suddenly croaked. He was just standing there.

I think he might still be in my freezer somewhere.

I killed a couple mouses last year, and one so far this year. LOL
That tends to happen if they start acting flaky..

I try to keep a spare one on hand so the replacement can be made right away
(infact I need to remember go buy one)

I'd buy an anaconda so I can feed it humans, but they're too damn expensive.

Back in the 90's I had a Burmese python that grew to approximately 12 feet long and approximately 75 pounds. I used to put her in my bathtub. Then one day I decided I was out of my mind and gave her to a well known pet store. They made her a beautiful enclosure and she attracted a lot of attention. :)

She ate very large rats (Sorry Hoody :( ) But needed much larger prey to eat.

I just bought a nice used one with a long tail or cord so I hope I will never need another. I find sometime older is better.

With that said I do have a couple wireless ones that went thru batteries so fast I couldn't afford them. Just in case.

I would probably buy a new mouse the next day unless it was still early on the day that the mouse died.

I do not buy any new ones, I just go back to using older ones which keep working better than newer, wireless ones: that is exactly what I do whenever I am not posting from my phone
