Your Movie Ticket Prices for Weekend Evenings?

In the East Bay in SF it is $10.25 for a regular adult.

Depends on which theater I go to ----one is $6.25 and there is a smaller (crappy one) that is $6.00---And if I go to the smaller one before 4pm it's only $4.00 bucks-----and then there are the dollar movies, which are only fifty cents on tuesdays. :D

It's $11.25 in Manhattan. A regular popcorn and a 24oz water will set you back another $9.

Last weekend it was $9.50 for the ticket. Drinks and popcorn starting at $5 each...so ridiculous. I've probably been to the theaters 2-3 times in the past few months...it's just not worth it.

It's $9.00 here in Detroit, plus another $10.00 at least for popcorn and soda. I know it's expensive, but I do love going to the movies.

Here, it's $7.75 for a student ticket. I usually don't mess with the food at the concession stand. There's a Cold Stone Creamery right next to the theater, and I just buy myself a cup of their delicious Birthday Cake Remix. $4.25 plus tax.

Tickets are $8 here. A large popcorn (with real butter and a plethora of toppings) is $3.50. A small is $2. I think soda's $2, depending on the kind. Candy's $2-3.50.

$8.75 for late and weekend showings.

I try to eat a big meal immediately before and bring a bottle of water into the theater so I don't have the urge to pay another 10 bucks for snacks.

It costs the same to have an actual meal at TGI Fridays or something so I'd rather just eat there first.

$9.95 and the snacks are just ridiculous.
Probably why its cheaper to wait and buy the DVD on a first day release deal than have the two of us go to a theatre. Seating at home is way more comfy as well.

10.75 in my area. I also noticed you can get a whole pizza for 22.00 and a large popcorn is 7.00, it's crazy.

Movies are $8.50 here. That's why we go to the $2.50 movies ($1 on Wednesdays)!!

I think they're $8.25 here - I watched a 3:50 showing today that cost $6.75. I've started resorting to the dollar theater these days as well...
