If I am awake I scrapped enough together for some chips. If my Roku gets the NYE thing from Vegas I will try to watch that as well.

I am not planning to stay up till midnight, as Coco isn't particularly big on soirees, but I'll wish others happy new year on the morrow.

we've invited thirty some for an open house at our place from 8pm to 2025. If anyone is in Vero Beach feel free to stop by for some friendly cheer for the new year. I've made Swedish meatballs. cucumber salmon dill thingies and a big pot of chili. Happy New Year fellas and to my American friends Good Luck to us under our new king....

It's possible I'll be awake, since I often am at midnight. Then, again, I might be sound asleep--although it's questionable whether that would last, given that there are those who greet the new year with fireworks. In either case, I don't anticipate doing anything much to greet the new year. I'm frankly a bit cynical about the excitement of a new year. Particularly now, since I don't see much reason to hold out much hope for 2025.

I go in at 11 the next day and he will be off so we will stay up probably having a drink and bringing in the New Year with our 4 legged babies, we are also gonna make Ambrosia Salad and dinner, and probably gonna get naughty as we were planning from earlier lol

Will probably watch precode movies on youtube. Maybe a double header of the first two Philo Vance movies starring Wiliam Powell.

I’ll be in bed by 10.
You are our kind of NYE date.

Some of the most terrifying NYE's we've had have been as guests at a NYE dinners. So tonight, we are having ham sandwiches in our jammies and watching the last of our holiday spaecials and I will defintiely be in bed by 10 with Mizzy.

Gee why not? You must be tickled that your guy is about to lower the cost of eggs.

Had no real plans.
Not uncommon for me to stay up to around 11pm on weekends, so going to midnight was no big deal.
I went outside & lit off a few fireworks, then came back in from the cold. .lol.
Now its time for bed..

I made it until 9:30pm. Woke up at 2:30am. Seems like same shit different year so far.

I fell asleep early evening, as I often do. I woke up later, as I often do. I think I might have slept later than the midnight I had anticipated, but I'm not sure. I can say I heard fireworks well past 1 AM, including one quite amazing boom.

Actually made it to 10:30. But then woke up at 3 am dreading what insults and threats Trump would include about Canada in his New Year's message and trying to figure out how to protect our investments for retirment from him taking a wrecking ball to the economy.

So yeah. 2025. Existential dread and anxiety thanks to too many Americans not bothering to vote.

I was going out, but an evening thunderstorm made me reconsider. The neighbors were setting off fireworks most of the night but earbuds drowned most of that out.
I slept late and only went out locally today.
Tomorrow I'll do more.
