Thanks for the video - you are right, it is uncannily accurate.

My god, the bad memories come flooding back - I had a piece of junk Lexmark All-In-One Inkjet (to be fair, I never paid for it, received it as part of a gift certificate promotion thing - so it stopped one step shy of "you can't give that thing away!" ) that I wrestled with on-and-off for two years. It would randomly drop out of USB detection when I (seemingly) wasn't doing anything involving it at all, and was useless at waking up for printing or displaying accurate ink levels on its software console. It was constructed cheap as anything too and would paper jam or smear ink. I finally got rid of it and actually "dismantled" what I could of it before doing so - felt good. It gave me pretty low faith in modern printer design and engineering, but eventually I replaced it and some faith is restored.
