Since a lot of people find my wording of why I am turned off by grown men in boxers I will clarify.

To me, when I see a person wearing boxers I automatically associate that with high school and boys uncomfortable with their own body/endowment.

As a former American I know for a fact that most Americans are more self conscience about their body...hence why most men wear boxers. Up here though you will rarely find a gay man in boxers. Most men up here period that I have seen straight or gay tend to wear other types of underwear (boxer-briefs, briefs, trunks) I rarely see men in boxers.

I'm in Canada and wear knit boxers because they're the most comfortable to me. I do own briefs but generally wear them for sports, running or doing things where I want to keep the boys intact. I'm originally from the US though. My Canadian born partner usually wears boxer briefs, but also occasionally wears briefs and and boxers. We both go to nude beaches occasionally so don't really have body image issues that would be related to our boxer preference.

I don't get the body image thing since people don't generally hang out in public in their underwear. There's the change up in the gym, but eventually they'll be getting naked so it's all coming off anyway.
