Lex. Icon. Devil.
I don't actually recall seeing this thread before, so thought I may as well start it. If it's a rerun, so be it.
If you're currently with somebody, do you have "your song"? What is it? Any story to share with it?
If you're not currently with somebody, did you used to have "your song" with your ex? How do you feel about the song now?
I guess I should start.
My boyfriend really wanted our song to be "My Heart Will Go On", but I just couldn't go there. I really don't like Celine Dion at all.
I don't know if I'd call this "officially" our song, but it may as well be - Tracey Ullman's version of "They Don't Know." As per usual, it happened sort of by accident. It was on a CD we were playing in the car, and we both started singing along. The chorus - "They don't know 'bout us/they've never heard of love" sort of summed up his friend's feelings about us. His friends took a poll picking how long the two of us would last - the longest guess was six months. Nine years later, it's fun to hear this song and think about that.
