Your Top 10 Favorite Horror Films.

Re-Animator is a great film. It seems to be popping up on a lot of the lists here on the board.

I'll have to check out The Innocents (1961). It sounds interesting.

So far no one has said, The Silence of The Lambs (1991)... but I guess it's more of a crime thriller than a Halloween horror film.

Anyway, some great lists guys!

The Haunting
Night of the Living Dead
Carnival of Souls
Let's Scare Jessica to Death
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre
The Exorcist
The Stepford Wives
The Evil Dead
Halloween
the Descent

Here are some more mentions if anyone wants to check them out:

Innocent Blood (1992) - This is an underrated gem, funny as hell too.
They (2002) - Has its moments, definitely worth watching with the lights out.
Pumpkinhead (1988) - Who knew Bishop has such a banging body. :p
The Fan (1981) - Michael Biehn plays an obsessive fan to some old broad who can't sing. Now that's scary!

It's really hard for me to limit to just 10 movie but a few more I wanted to add to my list are bran stoker's Dracula, the shining, Christine, sleepy hollow, Texas chainsaw massacre, videodrome, tourist trap, the spookies, and the devils backbone. I would also add Santa Sangre and Eraserhead but I'm not sure if those two are too avant garde to be horror.

......Yeah I am more of a fan of old school horror. Today's horror films try too hard. Too much fast editing, CGI, and a jump scare every second. Anyway, please post yours. :D

I agree with you, too much conjuring!

Here is my top 10 (not in particular order)...
