In no particular order (I can't play favorites)

My Life Would Suck Without You-Kelly Clarkson
Obsessed-Mariah Carey
She-Wolf-Shakira
Womanizer-Britney Spears
Bad Romance-Lady GaGa

Circus- Britney Spears
Radar- Britney Spears
Tik Tok- Kesha
Save you- Kelly Clarkson
Down- Jay Sean

I'll go with:

Black gives way to Blue - Alice in Chains
The Fixer - Pearl Jam
Meet me on the equinox - Death Cab for Cutie
Tessellate - Tokyo Police Club
Nantes - Beirut
The last two might be from '08, but I heard 'em in '09.

Since I'm feeling generous, I'll give special added kudos to "I got a feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas; their stuff is not usually my thing but that track is a well put-together and superb overall effort.

PS: Although contentious, I would like to add that I wholeheartedly disagree with all three previous posters' choices!

1. Janet "Make Me"
2. Melanie Fiona "It Kills Me"
3. Kelly Clarkson "Already Gone"
4. Maxwell "Pretty Wings"
5. Keyshia Cole & Monica "Trust"

Don't have a top five.

Will listen the songs from pass to present.

^If it helps, I most definitely do agree with what's in your gallery... ..|

i have to agree with what you are saying here. Do people realize there is other music out there besides Britney, Lady Ga Ga, Miley Cyrus, and Kelly Clarkson? Apparently not...

i guess my rule of thumb when it comes to music is if it's played on the radio or made by some american idol contestant then its not for me. To each their own i suppose. I just wish people had access to more music though, there is a lot more out there that people never hear.

I did catch the Black Eyed Peas in concert a couple of months ago (they were the opening act for U2) and thought they did put on a good show.

Either way, looks like we'd need to organise two separate floors for the next big meet-up...
