  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Your ultimate indulgence

wow - tough one - I've been on a diet for almost 2 months - it's really working - desserts are OUT for the most part

but if calories are no matter, I love

Entemanns chocolate donuts - with a glass of milk of course

Hot chicken wings - and many beers

nachos - with all the fixings

I know this sounds weird, but I love eggs! My cholesterol is high, so I try to stay away, but I love eggs in any form. Sunnyside up is my favorite, but scrambled or poached is good too. Have any of you ever heard of "eggs in a hole" or "eggs in a basket"? You cut a hole in the bread and then put the egg in the center in the skillet and fry it to your liking. OMG, it's the best way to have an egg!

Fried Chicken.

Chicken Fried Steak with cream gravy.

Rich vanilla ice cream with fresh raspberries and cholocate topping.

Lobster drenched in butter--and cheesecake for dessert! (Don't ever have that, or at least not both in the same meal, but it sure sounds good)!..|

Chocolate cappucino mousse....or anything else that has chocolate in it, and even better if it's got the coffee flavour too..|

I guess I'm kinda happy that I don't even like chocolate(anything) at all, so
that I don't have to make an effort stay away from them.
But I would say that homemade Lasagna is my thing...with all the real
cheeses and homemade sauce.

About once a month I go to Bar 89 in Manhatten for a cheese burger with bacon, a BLT or grilled cheese with bacon, YUM! They have the best bacon in the world!

Usually never eat dessert, but if I do, it has to be cheesecake, any kind.

One of my ULTIMATE - as in maybe once every other year or so - indulgences is I like to go to the Cheesecake Factory for a meal. They're very pricey, so not only is it a food indulgence, it's a monetary indulgence, as well. I go and order pretty much anything off the menu since everything they serve is really decadent and served in ridiculously large portions and then have a whole, big slice of vanilla bean cheesecake.

It's expensive and horrible for me, but it's worth every penny and calorie.

Sweet & sour meatballs and homemade pierogies.

I'd finish that off with a few huge helpings of bubble gum ice cream, but I can't find the damn stuff in any store.

I have friends that love that restaurant as well. I have never been a big fan of it. I usually share my dessert with my friends. I would never try to eat it by myself. I always thought of the Cheesecake Factory as a mid-priced restaurant. There is a chain in California called Claim Jumper (I almost never go to) that is known for huge portions: http://www.claimjumper.com/hypertext/menus_dinein_sweets.htm

It has to be ice cream for me: chocolate, please, and in large quantity!

It used to be cocaine and horse pills but these days it's more likely to be a cream cake and a cup of tea.

It's pricey for lower-middle-class Ohio. I usually go there with my mother and our total bill for two people is over $50. That's a bit much by our standards.
