Your Weird Crushes

You do know that Tennant's wife is Georgia Moffett? Who played the Doctor's daughter in the episode "The Doctor's Daughter"? She is also actually the Doctor's daughter, since her father is Peter Davison who played the Doctor in the 80s, and was Tennant's favourite Doctor when he was growing up as a young Doctor Who fan. By all accounts, he courted her, rather than her pursuing him. To the extent that she didn't realise he was interested in her, and thought he was just being nice, and her father had to point out to her what was going on.

Ah, I'm not surprised she's got major connections! He must have been Who-struck.

I wonder what it's like to have Tennant for a father. Intense dude.

What, may I ask, is so funny about Micky Dolenz?

I had a crush on Davy Jones. Are you going to laugh at me, too?

Sorry, Micky. (I hope he's not cruising these boards.) Everyone couldn't succeed in the sixties/seventies hair department.

Now Davy Jones, that boy was blessed! (I'm assuming you're connecting them because they both resided in the cheesier pop culture realm).

I had a crush on Joe Rogan when he hosted Fear Factor.

Now - he makes me want to puke and there is no longer a crush - his politics ruined anything I ever liked about him.

I think he is gross now:##::vomit:

I think figures like him who try to play both sides are the worst. Because they have people thinking you can hold totally fascist views yet still be seen as reasonable and progressive.

Okay, another "weird" crush of mine...

I love listening to him talk.

I keep thinking about the term "weird" - I had alot of crushes over the years but if it was on a man I didn't consider it weird since I was gay.

The first crush I remember having was on Roger Daltrey (loved the tight pants) - I still kinda have a crush on him but for different reasons now

Wooooo.:gogirl:

Musicians have an unfair advantage. Like automatic hotness. (Does it work for the tiny cymbals player?). Funny, I just watched the episode of Buffy season 4 where Giles sings "Behind Blue Eyes." Great voice.

I'm thinking if you would feel a little shy to admit the crush to all your buddies, for fear of their snickering, then it qualifies?

As to worrying about non-gay crushes, personally I'll be very excited if I ever find out I can be properly attracted to different sexes, not just vaguely curious.

I guess I kinda kept my musician crushes to myself - except for Roger Daltrey - but now that I think about it I had alot of them

Nick Ashford

Boz Scaggs

I can think of 10 more but these guys along with Roger Daltrey are my top 3.

Ohhhh - I forgot - Carly Simon - HUGE crush

Have to admit I used to want to hate fuck Tucker. Same for Josh Hawley, and Madison Cawthorn.

I'm digging your musical time machine, ma man!

Oh no, do not get me started on mister "We'll fight to the very last.... other people's children..."

My husband reminded me about the last crush I had and it was probably over 20 years ago - and he was right. I don't think I have had any crushes since Chris

Chris

Ohh yeah. Chris is a class act. Creates a great atmosphere.

"I don't want to fall in love.... with you.." Way harsh, man.:##:

Blue hotel. On a lonely highway...

SO DAMN SEXY^^^^

As for "I don't want to fall in love - with you" - I have been there many times. For me - it means I hate being so vulnerable and/or out of control so I didn't ever want to fall in love really

I love his comedic side too - he also had a show years ago - I think it was on HBO or Showtime - I never missed it. One of my favorite scenes ever from any movie with Chris and Tracy Ullman

:rotflmao::rotflmao: Faster Pussy Cat, Kill Kill! Is it too soon to say I love you?

Sure, anyone's scared to be vulnerable. But isn't he saying he specifically doesn't want to fall in love with.... that model he rolls around on the beach with?

Well, she did later name her kid Mingus, so.
