Normally, I can solve my own problems regarding online stuff etc.. Or it eventually sorts itself..

But, recently whenever I go to play a Youtube video the file will take literally an hour to load :grrr:.
I have nothing downloading, no internet bandwidth being used - Even if I sign off MSN/Yahoo, and don't browse any other sites it still takes forever to load, or just wont load at all.

I've never had any problems with Firefox before, until now.
This all began about a month ago. I know a friend of mine that lives in a different town is having the same problem.

I'm pretty sure it's not due to the latest Firefox Update, as it started to be an issue before I updated last, which was about 2/3 weeks ago..
I have no problem loading videos on GoogleVideo, but I don't need nor want to use that. #-o.

So really, I am just wondering if someone has any suggestions or helpful hints which may solve my problem.
I am using XP, btw.

Thanks in advance...

By any chance have you got cookies disabled?

EDIT: You could also try clearing the cache.

Accepts 99% Cookies. I have just raised my memory for it, and shall see if that does the trick; I hadn't thought of that before.

EDIT: Still the same after altering some Cookie Settings..
How would I go about this Cache suggestion?

I cleared it, and set it to 100MB of space.
Is there an amount you would recommend?
Going to log onto Youtube now, and see what happens.

Thanks for the suggestions by the way, guys (*8*)

It's about 50/50 now.
I raised the Cache level to 200MB, and will do a restart later, and see what happens.
Hopefully that'll sort it out.
Thanks, again gsdx.

Cache raised to 500MB, and my Internet Provider doubled our speed connection double for free, and Youtube still wont play some videos that used to work fine! :grrr:

I've tried it in a different browser, and the same problems occur.

..I just don't know what to do :( #-o.

I have had similar problems that were solved by resetting my cable modem and my Linksys router. I once spent over 15 minutes on the phone with a Comcast tech who finally suggested I try resetting them, and it worked. I have had to do it several times since.

Yeah, I already uninstalled Flash, and installed the newest version (sorry I forgot to mention that) #-o.
I tried it again though after reading your post, and still no success.

I am changing this a little but firefox updated my browser last night and curently i have 3 tabs running but i have been noticing that when i click a youtube video and go to another tab, the youtube video does not play until i click that tab the youtbe video is on.

YouTube videos do not start automatic play anymore in firefox unless they are in the focused tab.

Whats up with that?

Anyone else updated firefox lately and noticed this? It used to just start regarless of which tab i was viewing now it doesnt start until i click the youtube tab.

I dont like it some people might but is there a way to get it back to the way things used to be?

Oh ok i just tried explorer and its the same thing so it must be a youtube related and not browser related.

Well its still sucks. There should be an option to change it.
