Yum Or Yuck

Schaschlik..? Don't know what it is, so I will say yuck.

Lime Jello?

I'll give you guys a clue here. When Pornoboy gives you a food name in German, just google it and you'll usually find that it's the same thing, or at least something similar to something you already know under another name.

Schaschlik is like shish kebab-- I'll say Yum.

Oh, and Lime Jello? Yum

Pommes de Terre? (Baked Potato?)

in the area I live a Schaschlik can be made of any meat - from beef over chicken to pork and back - it usually comes in a sauce...

Pommes de Terre (Baked Potato?)
with sour cream yum..!

Black truffles..?

Hmm, I've never heard of it, but it sounds interesting. The wikipedia article mostly describes it growing in Europe, no mention was made of it in the Western Hemisphere. The plant is described as nutritious, and tasting somewhat like oysters. My (American) National Garden Book has a short article on salsify, but it seems to be describing the related purple salsify plant, which is also edible.

Jicama?
