@LoveMyPeppermill I haven't tried some of the meals here but it's easy to look em up online to see the ingredients and how the dish is made so one gets an idea .
Peruvian food has a lot of fusion in their meals , even chinese food has influenced peruvian cuisine ...

Black eyed peas are not rare here and I like em ( not in large amounts though )

Squirty Cream ( kind of yum , but too sweet )

Blackberry Jam ? ( I Haven't tried this since I was 5 , but it was so yum )
 
I prefer fresh figs which are yum to me

Mashed Avocados to use as butter over bread slices ?
 
Plain yogurt? Yuck for eating straight (except alongside very hot Indian food), yum for cooking with (good lower-calorie alternative to sour cream).
