Yum Or Yuck

Should be a Yum. I think I checked it once before, and found out the orange jam is not the same thing as orange marmalade. I'm not sure I've ever seen it, since we only seem to see orange marmalade in the States.

Grapefruit Marmalade?

Depends on what the cook did and didn't put in it, but mostly yuck, becasue it almost always has bell peppers (along with pimentos, the only kind of capsicum I don't like, until you get into the ghost pepper range) and olives (which I really, really don't like, especially when pimento-stuffed).

But I could see really enjoying a ropa vieja that included lots of garlic, no olives or capers, and New Mexico red and green chiles in place of the bell peppers.

Mofongo?

Yawn -- it seems barely more than sugar water.*

Pomegranate juice?

* However, the very good fruit-and-vegetable store three blocks away makes apple tea (brewing tea with hot apple juice instead of water) with different flavorings. It's delicious; my favorites are cinnamon-ginger-lemon and cinnamon-clove. Unfortunately, it is $5 for about 7 fluid ounces.

And V-8 makes an excellent base for gazpacho. Put it in a blender with a couple of tomatoes, garlic, scallions, cilantro, lemon juice, and Tabasco.
Great for a hot day's lunch with some good bread. (And yes, I know it's not real gazpacho.)

Yum.

That apple tea sounds good. And that looks like a good gazpacho recipe, you're only substituting V-8 for the chicken broth as the base (at least in the recipe I follow).

For that matter

Gazpacho?

I've never tried it but from what I've seen on TV it looks yum

Shrimp Soup ?

Yuck. (You were trolling the Americans, weren't you?)

Vegemite?

Gazpacho with V8? Gazpacho with chicken broth? @PalacePaul is gonna come after us. :scaredofthat: And maybe @Reischfleger too ...

Hmm, I don't think I've ever had it, but it sounds like an Australian knock-off of Marmite, which I don't think I've ever had, either. From what it sounds like, I will probably either love it or hate it if I try it.

Nutella?

Yuck, unfortunately. I've tried numerous times, but I just don't like cantaloupe or honeydew.

Papaya?
