This is another one I had to look up, never imagining how these two ingredients would go together. But then again, I've had combination dishes like this before that turned out to be fantastic. On the basis of the recipe I found,

I'm having a bit of trouble finding out exactly what this is. If I enter Eierkas in Google, all the sites are in German, and the ones I had translated into English didn't have much in the way of describing the ingredients and preparation very well. When I tried egg cheese, I got Slavic recipes from places like Slovakia and Poland, probably similar, but again, I'm not clear on what these are. If it's something like a custard, I know what that is, but the pictures looked like you slice them sort of like cakes or pies. :confused:

I'll say that I'm willing to at least try it :)

hm yes - it is some kind of egg pudding served cold with sugar&cinnamon on top of it, on toast or sweeet white bread with raisins in it, a dish my granny and mom used to make, not known all over Germany a speciality of the area I was born...
