I don't think I've ever had it, but looking at the recipe, it sounds like a fancy name for what basically is a homemade mashed potato recipe. On the basis of that I'l say

Yum

Mashed Potatoes and Gravy? (True story. As a kid I didn't want gravy on my mashed potatoes or rice. I liked both of them, but not together!)
