It looks so pretty. :) The last cake I made blew up.....no really, When my mom was making the perfect gay baby she left out the baking skill.
 
Yum, I made homemade snickerdoodles today! They've been known to drive people crazy because they taste so amazing. Gotta love Mom's secret recipe!

That's a horrible picture to post for someone to see (like me) who just vowed to start back on his diet. Shame on you.

BTW. I prefer mine with a glass of ice cold milk.

Hey, ever made a blue cake before?

Get a big box of cake mix, and when you're at the part where you're stirring it together with everything, steadily drizzle blue food colouring into it. Occasionally yell "MORE POWAAAA!" and tilt the bottle.

Then mix the icing, in a similar manner.

Then get something blue to go in the middle. I did blackcurrant jam because that's all we had in.

We then cooked the two cake parts, put the jam on top of one, put them together, and covered with icing.

Voilá. Neon blue cake.
 
Is this a celebration for yesterday's little affair in Albany?

I would only eat it if you could issue a personal guarantee that the pictured cake is non-fattening. Also where is the non-fattening clotted cream to spoon all over it?

We need a JUB baking competition ;) It'd be all about 'looking' delicious, of course!

It'd be a slightly less damaging JUB awards, don't you think?

There'd only be a few categories,
Most delicious (obvious)
Most inventive (get thinking creatively!)
Most funny (I detect penis shaped cakes abounding)
 
I don't like chocolate cake that much, unless it is an ice cream cake. :D
