Content wise, no one is going to pay those kind monthly rates for a few jerkoff scenes when there are THOUSANDS of other sites that offer much more content that is updated weekly that includes actual sex for a similar price and a more extensive catalog to choose from including scenes with him in them.

The days of a "NAME" in porn being able to carry a singular site or a DVD/VOD are winding down. The NDM individual sites that focus on just one performer aren't doing that well and as loathsome as NDM are they do have regular content updates that include hardcore scenes. A site that has sporadic and uneven updates of just solo action is going to have a hard time making it. Sites that update TWICE a week are struggling to turn a profit.

Scene rates are in the toilet now and that is one of the reasons you are starting to see more performers become exclusives. The pay isn't much better but they can be guaranteed work and not have to compete with someone who will do a scene for a few hundred less.

As far as the straight industry and porn wiki leaks goes, sorry man that is the truth. Patient Zeta started the wheels in motion, porn wikileaks has made it a mission to eliminate crossovers for working in the straight industry and its working. Female talent are refusing to work with crossovers not only because of the patient zeta thing but because they don't want all kinds of personal info going up on that site. Plus the straight industry is in a fight with CALOSHA and AHF about mandatory condoms in porn shoots.

Good luck but unless you find a niche or something that makes your site unique, a few low to mid quality jerkoff vids and inconsistent updates won't last long.
