Hey Bitches....

Well...Hurricane Gustav is here. It's 9pm CST and it's been a good bit of rain. Certain parishes near where I live have reported funnel clouds and last reported by the news, 1.6 million people have been evacuated fron New Orleans and surrounding parishes.....not bad!. There are some who refuse to leave and have been told that if they stay, it's at their own risk..no last chance shelters, no more bus transporters or trains in case they change their minds.

On the good side, I had a great night with Shawn. Since Southern Decadence was a wash, we decided to take in a movie. We went to see "The Dark Knight" and it was great to be with him..holding his hand and just being with him. There were only about a dozen people in the theatre so that was good. After we went to Georges--a local gay bar here and had a few beers and met some friends. A great night. Got a text from my friends Lane and RR. Rest assured guys, we're good. Shawn apologized for our plans going south but like I told him...he's here and safe and that matters most to me. Besides we can do "Decadence" anytime...and most probably will..hehhee..

Power permitting, I will blog as often as I can so you guys can hear what's going on. Say a prayer for all here at this time....we'll need all we can get. Take care..sleep...

Good Morning

It's almost 10AM CST and we've got mostly here rain and wind. I taped the windows of my house last night just before this all started and when I woke up this morning, the tape was gone! Needless to say I'm not taping them again. Will call Shawn soon to see how he's doing and check on a few friends also. Oh yeah, happy birthday to me! Yours truly turned 45 today. I feel great and realtives and close family called to give greetings.

Oh yeah, about the storm. I've sat and watched MSNBC this morning and they're reporting that the levees in New Orleans and the surrounding parishes have been topped. According to our state's Office of Preparedeness, this is inaccurate. Should I hear differently and I'm able to, I'll blog. I expect to get some more wind and heavy rain in about 2hrs from now. Keep your fingers crossed. Bye for now.

Hey Guys!!

I made it!!...well, let's not get too excited yet..Hurricane Ike is approaching. Let's hope that fucker dies a slow death. We here can't take another hit like Gustav. 70-90 mph winds ripped through here...it's like a bomb went off and leveled everything in it's path. It horrible. Power was out in over 90% of the state. Massive wind damage, flooding in low lying parishes which tends to wash up snakes. Fifty, 100 or more year old trees uprooted and tossed around like matchsticks. Down trees through houses and commercial buildings. All this devastation during the Republican National Convention. Bush(I don't call him "president" because I didn't vote for him!!) came to veiw the damage--from Texas! Wait? This happened in Louisiana and Texas was the closest place he could get to see the damage? Now to his defense he did come to the state, met the Governor, shook hands, photo op, the usual "Help is on the way" speech and off was his happy ass outta here!. I expect that...but what I didn't expect...or should I say was surprised by...was the fact that this natural disaster was totally overlooked by the media. But I can see just how a little storm that killed over 100 people since it started wouldn't compare to people standing on rooftops waiving to helicopters because the flood waters were rising. My point? Not to belitttle Hurricane Katrina victims, but a disaster is just that and should be reported so the world as a whole can see the true nature of these storms. As a result, I had a somewhat happy birthday. I plan to celebrate before the month is over the way I originally intended--with Shawn's legs up in the air!! He's doing fine and we're excited to start those plans again--unless Ike starts some shit in the Gulf. Hey guys, post some comments to my friend RR. He's been on my mind lately and I just want to make sure he knows people care about him. I can't wait to see him next month and show him how it feels to be himself. Hello to One and All!!

Let's jsut get right into this. I didn't realize I hadn't blogged since September. Time does fly!. Well, the day Hurricane Gustav came(9/1) was my birthday. My boyfriend bought me tickets to see one of my favorite R & B singers, Teena Marie. The show was to be the same night the hurricane hit town so the show was cancelled. It was rescheduled for 10/18. He was determined to make sure my birthday was was special even thought he was so ill. I asked him to stay at his place and focus on getting him well. He wouldn't have it. The girl rocked the show! I really had an awesome time and it was even greater because he was there with me. Some of you may or may not have heard of her so if you go to www.teenamarie.com or Google her name, you'll find all you need to know about the "Vanilla Child."

I would like to ask you to say a special prayer to my man. His dad has been ill and it would mean a lot to him to know he's not alone in thinking about him. You know, he's also not been feeling good and it concerns me. He tells me he's ok, but I know him.

Big plans for this weekend. For his birthday, I bought tickets for us to see "The Material Girl"..that's right..MADONNA!!. We leave for Houston on Sunday and it should be a good concert. I'll update you when we get back. Feel free to comment...talk soon!!

Good Morning Bitches!!!!

Yep...I said morning. It is 6:40AM and I'm preparing to gt my stuff ready for a 4 hour drive to see the one and only...MADONNA!!! Myself, Shawn and our friend Gary are headed to Houston to see the Material Girl. It should be fun...well they're maybe one thing we'll have to prepare for. The show will be held in an outdoor arena which means it may be freezing by the time the show starts. But who cares???

If time permits, I'll blog once I'm there to let you know how it went. We're also going to check out a few places..OK one place where all the boys will hang out after the show...Club Houston! I know, I know. . . we shouldn't be there but hey, gotta wind down after all the hype ya know. Take care and you'll read soon......bye!

Hello Everyone!!!

OK...let's get this over with...Happy New Year, MLK Day, Valentine's Day, President's Day, & Mardi Gras!..now that I'm caught up...LOL

This week has been a whirlwind. Projects at work, home and other areas have been pushing me..and I like the challenge. I've been focused on getting things in order so I can have things on "auto pilot" of sorts. So let's jump in:

Some of you know that the last weekend in May is Gay Days in Pensacola Florida. It's 5 days of Bi/Gay men on the beach in various stage of dress...or undress...and this year is no different. Well, maybe...see last year there were six of us in a three bedroom beach house. This year there will be different..a la Real World. It will be me and Shawn, Shawn's brother Eric and his "girlfriend" Laura, my friend Gary, my friend Clovis, my other friend Lane, our friends from last year Gay Days Alex, Jared and Will. So if you look at it another way you got one bisexual(that would be me!!), one straight man, one straight female(yeah, I know!!) and seven gay men..and that's at last head count! There may be a few more(3) but I haven't gotten confirmation yet. Should be loads of fun...personally I wonder how the girl will react to seeing male nudity and possibly sex behind closed doors is pure entertainment enough. We'll probably meet up with my best friend Shad and his partner Peter and take in the beach. This year some of us have made plans to take in a nude beach and ride a few waves in the Gulf....I can't wait!

Shawn is waiting to get to the beach to see if sex on it is possible. I guess I'll give hem what he want..LOL. If you've never been walking on the beach with your partner either in the daylight or at night...it's awesome. The house we're staying this year is a tri level with views of the beach...truly beautiful. If you're interested in going next year, email me at pntzroff@hotmail.com to get details.

Lastly, I'd like to say a few things about Shawn. If any of you read the comment he left on last blog entry you will get to see a side of him that you may not have witnessed. He opens himself up to discuss his feelings about some issues. I support him in his decison not to meet my ex. I'm a firm believer of following your "first mind." I wish the ex nothing but happiness and in doing so, I've learned something: I found that I know with certainty what I want and what I don't need to be happy. Shawn makes me happy. Even when things don't quite go right, it's the end result that matters the most...us! To truly understand me is to truly know me..and he does! Thank you baby for being who you are. Thank you for all you do and thank you for the impact you've made in my life. Your parents did a great job in your upbringing and I thank them as well.
