I have a question: Was Austin on drugs? He appeared to have lost a great deal of weight, looked gaunt and looked wasted toward the end.

I'm not sure if he was on any 'illegal' drugs towards the end- I didn't even know where he was living. I heard he was on adderol and maybe some sleeping meds but he was also a heavy drinker/smoker so that could have lead to his worn appearance as well

Zane ...I re-read the book and have to ask how you managed to do those scenes with so much drama and tension between you and Austin. It appears from reading the book that you and Austin were filming before, during and after some MAJOR fights. How did you guys manage to turn the anger off, and the sexual tension on? You wrote about the before and during, but you never really said how you guys responded to each other directly after the scenes. Did you guys immediately shutdown after the cameras were off and retreat to your corners? Just curious...if this is too personal I understand. I had to ask after re-reading the book.

Great question! I'm not sure where I went mentally for some of my scenes but if the fight wasn't a huge one, I could get through it because I knew if we were filming, it meant progress with the site. There are actually a few scenes that I remember where I was so annoyed by Austin that I was worried it was going to ruin the scene. You can usually tell because I'm extra stand-offish in the beginning "talking" parts of the scene and I usually won't even look at him! At the end of the day, I knew that everyone loved an AZ scene so I would just tough my way through it. Afterwards, we would just go our separate ways and didn't really speak for a few days... Man my world was pretty messed up hahaha

It looks like all the videos are there. After August of last year there are only a few that feature Zane and/or Austin, but it looks like all of the videos for the first fifteen or so months are still there including those which viewers have posted here are their favorites. What is missing are all the behind the scenes photos and the personal blog which Zane wrote weekly to interact with members. The About Us and Models List sections are still there making it appear as if Austin and Zane are still running the site. The address is austinzane.com and the price of membership for one month is 29.95. Be sure to cancel after you join because it is recurring.

IMO and this is just my opinion I would rather anyone wanting to see those old scenes search them out online rather than handing over any cash to the new owners. I normally would never tell people to do something like that but with Zane, Bret and yes even Austin no longer working with the site I just can't stand that fact that the new owners are making anything of those videos.

I haven't read the book. I have no plans on reading it either. Not unless Austin comes out with his side of things. I'm not accusing anyone of lying or fudging the truth, I'm just saying that there is more than one side to a story. I wish the both of you young men the best in life. No one deserves to be fucked with like this (literally nor figuratively). I don't feign to know either of you better than you know yourselves. You did a wonderful job having sex. I really would like to know what happened to the other guy...not Brett or Austin. But the other one that came with you guys from SCM. Mason? And Ryan? Do you still keep in touch with them?

I'm not sure what happened to Ryan. We loaned him some money after his brother was hit by a car and we never heard from him again. I've even searched for him on FB just to see how he is doing but I didn't have any luck.
Last I knew Mason was either working in security or Red Lobster but I haven't seen him in over a year, he was always one of my favorites in Vegas

Is Austin still in Las Vegas? Where are the operations of AustinZane now? -- still in Nevada? I"m guessing the site will shut down at some point unless the current owners are just working around the clock to upload a lot of new scenes all at once.

AND AGAIN - I know you have nothing else to do with the operations and sold your shares in the business but I figured via "word of mouth" you might know more than we could. Austin doesn't participate on Twitter and neither do the new owners of AustinZane.com. It's like it's all dead over there now.

Yes, he is still alive. We've only recently cut all lines of direct communication but we do have mutual friends that keep me somewhat in the loop.

The same guys that bought me out. They are not 'porn guys' or anybody you would care to know or recognize. From what I've been told, the new owners squeezed him out and changed all the banking and website information on him overnight. Whether or not that's true, I don't know for certain but it seems to be par for the course.

All I know is that they felt like in order for AZ to be performing at it's peak-potential, they needed to own it 100%. From what I can see, things didn't work out that way and bringing that creepy Tom Moore guy on to film new scenes was probably the furthest thing from the right thing to do... so odd...

Yes, he is still in Las Vegas and the business mailing address is still listed in Henderson, NV. I wouldn't guess that they would try to revive it after stringing it out for this long- it just wouldn't make any sense. But, stranger things have happened! The site is very stripped down now- no new scenes, no blog, no live cam shows- nothing. The fact that it's still even operational and taking people's money kind of seems wrong to me, sort of like the old SCM site, but as long as people know that I am no longer affiliated with the site, I can sleep sound at night.

Wow. This is such bad news. But I suppose maybe all of this was inevitable. Guess time will tell. I can't see these guys investing so much money into buying the business to only let it fail.

They are going to have to change the name of the business to something else. . .it's a gimmick/scam to call it AustinZane when neither are around.

Zane I don't know what your plans are. But whatever they are I hope you find success with them. It's just that you have a built in following devoted to your looks and body. Over 3,500 people follow you on twitter because they are fans. And guys flock here (including me) because they are interested in you. If you decide to never do a porn scene again I'll support that decision and wish you well. Butt if you have any thoughts on returning in front of the camera. . .hurry up.

Somebody should feed Austin to get his strength and healthy look back and then lock you two in a room for 6 days and 7 nights until you have worked out all your differences. And then you two should come out with AustinZane 2.0 ;-) I know . . .wishful thinking. . . . .just wishful thinking. But as everyone else has said over and over and over again, the chemistry was off the charts.
