Actually, I have tried chocolate-covered scorpions/ants/spiders before, and mealworms. Oh, and those bugs stuck inside lolipops, too. Honestly, I'd have to say alot of things like that DO taste like chicken.

Has nothing to do with being on a pedestal. But it has everything to do with the fact that I'm not going to willingly eat something that could possibly kill me.

Then again, these days, with all of the food recalls due to E. Coli and Salmonella, just about anything could kill us.

I eat them once in awhile with porridge, and they're not bad. I don't particularly like them, but they actually don't taste, or smell bad at all. It's all mental.

There are no health problems with eating them. I mean, wine is aged for decades, and people still drink it.
