2 Cellos - Welcome to the Jungle

Here's a bit more Vivaldi for your entertainment purposes:

And something a little less lively:

I get that - I just scratch my head since I've looked at their YT site and tried to go through the vids somewhat thoroughly.

My classical music station plays all four of those pieces quite regularly, but not with Sjephan. I particularly enjoyed the Meditation from Thais (the second one).

I wish Luka's shirt was shorter!

I saw that note - and agree. I noticed he had compression shorts on to benefit the contours of his body.

Well, we had Vivaldi 1st movement a bit ago - here are the second and third movements from the boys.

And here's another third movement - this one from JS Bach.

Piano Guys again with 'Promenade' from Mussorgsky's 'Pictures at an Exhibition'. (It represents an art gallery patron wandering from painting to painting.) It was originally composed for the piano and later arranged for an orchestra by Maurice Ravel.

This is an excerpt (the finale) of the orchestral version performed by the Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra under the direction of Gustavo Dudamel. As it's a youth orchestra, I can provide only the link. (The video is just over 9 minutes long, but it goes by very quickly.)

They are fantastic. And Bernstein/West Side Story meets Venezuelan Street Kids turned amazing musicians - what could be more riveting?

Well, he could do like Julie Andrews and start at the very beginning . . .

The man who made musical magic.

You may not know James Horner, but you probably have heard his music. If you've seen Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn or Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, or A Beautiful Mind, or Field of Dreams, or that tiny film Titanic, you have heard Horner's music. Sadly, he died this past June, but his music will entertain us as long as there is music being played.

Here is one of his most beautiful - Casper's Lullaby
