20 Years Brokeback Mountain

My feeling was that it felt like a very slow moving movie. It is like watching a couple of snails race each other. Although there might be a snail that moves faster than this movie does.
It's funny how different people can be.

I loved the pace, as it seemed so authentic to the lives. When they were shepherds, that work is stupendously tedious. And when they progressed on through the years, that also seemed faithfully presented.

So many directors inject drama and action and excitement when it is a lie, a false story.

Brokeback took gay stories out of the urban, out of the fem, out of the night life or backrooms or sexual tourism, and dumped one in the living room of boring, middle-class and poor families, who could identify with much of the story.
