Canada is seeing a spike in cases yesterday with 668 new cases reported, 311 in Quebec and 257 in Ontario.
Again, the majority are agricultural workers in Ontario identified through more aggressive testing in the Windsor Essex area....but also a number of cases from a nail salon in Kingston.

For Quebec, the spike is likely due to a short period since Thursday where there was a decision not to report daily numbers...which they have now backtracked on.

“After extensive testing this weekend of temporary workers in Southwestern Ontario, the province is reporting 177 new cases of COVID-19 in Windsor-Essex, with another 80 new cases across the rest of the province,” the minister said in a statement.
“Following some initial challenges with testing in the agriculture and agri-food sectors, these numbers reflect the implementation of our three-point plan to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19 on farms.”
