Well, yes: some people, like me, pictured themselves mainly as they were five years ago: living secluded most of the time while working at home... actually, the most unpredicted element of my current life is that, back in May 2015, I still resisted the idea of renting self-storing space for books, as I did six months afterwards, much less that I would be leaving it for a bigger one three and one third years later.

But notice that I do not see myself following the same routines in 2025  ... I am not even sure I will be alive, or in good health

^ Yes it does

It proves one is unpredictably predictable enough

And boredom is in the mind of the no-brainer .

^ I hated being forced into time-wasting coloring as a child!!

The song was written in 1919, the tail end of the Spanish flu pandemic. The film was made in 1929, at the start of the Great Depression.

^ You mean made on the eve of the Great Depression.

It was RELEASED at the start of the Great Depression.

Well in India there are SWARMS of Locusts and EXTREMELY HOT weather like hotter than normal!

Let's all be fortune tellers... your prediction of what other disasters await us in 2020.

  • Australian wild fires that pushed many species toward extinction.
  • Trump's killing of Iranian top official insuring there will be no peace in our time.
  • A global pandemic that shut down everything and put everyone under quarantine. I didn't see that coming. No one did. Took everyone by surprise.
  • 40-50 million unemployment in the US alone.
  • George Floyd killing ignited mass protests in Minneapolis that turned into riots in Minneapolis that turned into looting and burning in Minneapolis that turned into mass protests and riots and looting and burning in cities across the US.
  • A potential disastrous November election that would result in DT having a 2nd term.
  • Pretty much everybody is sure there's a recession and a housing market crash looming over all our heads.

Your fortune telling of what other disasters await us in 2020.

Well, we should have been able to predict something bad for May...just didn't think it would be another police killing of a black guy that would lead to riots.

Yeah, half the US is effed if it blows. Fortunately, I live just right outside of the ashcloud radius range. But yeah...

I wouldn't mind a zombie Apocalypse or alien invasion, though.
