I feel pedophiles are worse than most murderers. Many murders are spontaneous, emotional, reactionary.

Pedophiles premeditate their crimes. The victims are fragile mentally and physically. Victims are psychologically hurt for life. Plus pedophiles will do it again and again regardless of punishment.

So yeah, harsher punishment for pedophiles.

There appear to be a fair number of gay men who are exclusively attracted to straight men. They don't care for gay men.
So these so called studies feed their delusions and give them further hope that they can snag a straight guy. Odd thing is, will they continue to believe the guy is straight after the gay sex? Afraid so. Delusion works that way.

I thought the appeal of gay4pay was a mix of assumed control thru money and/or a generic conversion 'they really want it' meme. I don't see the erotic appeal myself but I like control to be shown, not assumed via culture in a particular (false, might I add) buying a service = Owns Everything in a wink-wink/nudge-nudge way. Each to their own, but a little unpacking on what and why particular genre's mean to an individual wouldn't be amiss. Fantasy, cultural expectations and reality gets confusing for people so damned easily.

From what i've read, most pedophiles did not act on their fantasies.
Most pedophiles are done by family members or friends or trusted people like priests ....
Rarely from strangers.

If they act "regardless of punishment", what's the point of harsher punishment?

Besides which, many pedophiles are just wired that way -- there's no choice involved. Some will respond to treatment that slowly raises their "target age", but it's expensive and still can't always get their attraction boosted to above legal age. Rather than punish what they can't help, treat as many as can be and just isolate the rest from children -- like, in a weather station in Antarctica.


BTW, that was hard to type because my emotional reaction to pedophiles is slow, painful execution, the duration and intensity proportional to the number of times they victimized someone.

If you count oral, that's probably true. Something one of my uncles once said sort of sums up an attitude among a fair number of straight guys: "A mouth is a mouth is a mouth, but if you want to get laid get a broad" (the language sort of dates the saying). So if a gay guy wants to go down on someone, it isn't totally hard to find a straight guy who's up for it.
