51st Grammys Thread (Predictions, Bitching, Etc)

Re: 51st Grammys Thread (Predictions, Bitching, Et

AKA he caught a break which tends to happen a lot in the industry. I don't think Ashton is all that bad as an actor.

Exactly. He caught a break, but it is not as if he were respected for his talent as an actor before T70s show. He's mediocre at best; even stating that may be giving him too much credit.

My point was that having this "experience" -- without a certain level of intelligence or intellectualism in that particular art form -- doesn't necessarily make a person more knowledgeable about it. And to that end, Ashton Kutcher is the perfect example.

Yes and No. Having actual experience does give one a different perspective than third person observation. Observing and listening to singers is one perspective; institutional knowledge is another perspective. Being able to sing is yet another perspective. Having all three of those perspectives would make someone more well-rounded.

When one sings, one would be able to personally understand how the muscles function, physical sensations, as well as how the sound resonates in one's head. It's a completely different experience than one would have if one is simply observing or reading a textbook. It may not be extremely limiting not to have the individual experience, but it is limiting.

However, you are correct in asserting that it requires a certain level of intelligence or intellectualism. Of course, that is more important than anything.

Well then, we agree. :D

This is a very persuasive argument. I see the distinctions you're making now, and I agree completely. And let me just say, it is a treat to see someone discussing/debating in such an intelligent and articulate way as you have done. This is not always the case on this board. I hope I see more of you.

Sometimes, I know exactly what I'm trying to express, but I may not word it properly. I'm pretty sure you have seen me, under a different name, in the Celeb Forums debating RobinGoodfellow; I hope he does not appear because I said his name. Anyway, thanks for the compliment.

That's terrible! How awful! So tragic, I loved him with all my heart! Nonetheless, I know he would want me to enjoy his money via our very lucratice life insurance policy. But I'ma miss him!

Bitch I bet you ain't got his black card pin number, hoe. You're just a jumpoff, I'm his breezy. You can have your lil fling in your trailer, I will be resting on his satin sheets, drinking Chateau, being serenaded by the symphonists he hires just for me.

Here's a toast to TRUE love.

Wow, that's funny. He gave me his new pin card number while he was at my place, so you don't even have access to the account anymore. As a matter, if you're his main squeeze, then why has he started moving his belongings over here? Why did he give me the keys to his Jag? Oh yeah, that poem that he wrote for me, where he was talking about the different ways he loves me, was beautiful.

But not two hearts. :(

Re: 51st Grammys Thread (Predictions, Bitching, Et

You two are cracking me up. (and convincing me never to get a joint bank account)

I'm glad we're cracking you up. This is a good thing. It's better than a special diva's voice cracking at the Grammys.
