Very sad, I saw this story and immediately thought of a thread in the Coming Out section here. Too many similarities to be a coincidence.

We have the sad news to break also that he's a JUBber. He was called cit2mo.

He discussed his problem on the forums earlier, and the steps he took with his university. It has been closed and moved into the Moderators area, as it could be use as evidence in the criminal prosecution of the two accused.

I send my deepest condolences to his close family and friends, and hope that JUBbers here will join with me and make this thread about remembrance, and not to speculate on the circumstances about his suspected death.

Update: His thread is now in the Garden of Memories. The thread cannot be posted in to maintain the integrity of its original contents up until the point it was closed.

I read the article and had to think of that thread immediately. Meanwhile others already had posted in the thread as well. I tried to check whether they are the same and I was just thinking "fuck fuck fuck .." yes - most likely they are the same :(
What a huge downer, he seemed to have his head and heart in the right place :(

I restored your post Appleman, there is a bit of chaos over all this since we had to check first and the owners are still researching the implications of this. So don't be too surprised if our policy about threads on this event might change soon.

This is very unfortunate. What an asshole roommate. Ravi is already getting his. I was on a web site and there were so many racial posts including some posts telling him to go back to India.

Mods, can we please send this link to the local cops that have these two losers in custody? I believe, when possible, in giving victims a voice, even from the grave.
 
This is so sad! I thought of the thread after reading the news story. I thought him and the university were taking action the last time I read his thread. So sad.

My condolences to his family and loved ones.
 
Sometimes people confuse me. What would they get out of this? If you want to see two guys kissing its not hard to find. I'm glad i'm no longer in the dorms and If my old roommate left his laptop open I would close it before I would do anything.

Oh my god....

I was immediately reminded of the other thread as well.

This is so sad.... so senseless. My heart breaks every time this happens. The worst thing is that somewhere, some people cheer.
