hey boys and girls... its been a while since i;ve done one of these... but I've decided its about time for another..

thats right I'm throwing another contest for all you lovely people to participate in... and if you ask me.. the prize is much better this time around

but because I'm an ass I won't tell you what the prize is till the end of this post


-THE simple RULES TO ENTER-

1. you must have a minimum post count of 1000 posts... if you do not have meet this requirment you must have 2 other members post in your favor

of all the people who enter I will hand pick the 10 people based on their answers in the application

the contest will be in the form of a second thread where the apllicants will be listed as choices in a poll... other members on JUB will vote for who they wanna see win so the applicants will need to get out there and advertise themselves so people vote for them

in the event of too many applications (a minimum of 20 applicants) I will open up multiple threads with polls to vote for who you want to win and then I will start a final thread where the winners will be facing eachother untill there is only one

this is a little different from my last contest.. the prize isn't as scandalous...
but its a far better idea if you ask me

the winner of this contest will have a painting or drawing dedicated to them... not just the name of the artwork.. but the entire peice will be based on him/her the way I see him/her based on their posts and the answers of their applications

now i'm not a rich man... so I will not be mailing the artwork to anyone... also because i have no idea how.. but whatever.. they will get a digital photograph of it and the joy of knowing that somewhere in the world(more exactl in ontario, canada) there is a peice of art that is all about them

I'm a paralegal ... it's rather boring sometimes, other times not. And I enjoy it fine ... though it's the least-enjoyable part of my otherwise wonderful life.

Book Pushing and Graphic Design... I enjoy both jobs for different reasons. With graphic design, I (usually) get to work closely with one person or a small group until the project is perfect. At the bookstore, I deal with a lot of different people in a shorter amount of time, which can be both trying and rewarding.

5. why do you want to enter?

I love art. Almost all of the art in my house was made by friends or people I have met. Even though this will just be a digital copy (unless I print it), it will still be a work of art to enjoy and to remind me of the artist.

I do as little as possible.
I work as a handyman, doing everything from roofing to remodeling to landscaping, but my main income right now is from disability. I enjoy all the handyman stuff I do except a few jobs I take just because the wage I can negotiate is so high (I hate painting indoors, but when someone offers me $24/hr....). I'd kinda like to be a student again; I miss college, and really miss all the opportunities that went by there because I didn't know who I was yet.

I just got accepted into the Nursing Program!!!! i will be starting this summer, and i absolutely can't wait to start training. I'm looking forward to becoming an RN, it's time to give back to the karmic cycle (and the pay is fantastic too, LOL) I also work as my friend's assistant, i help run some parts of his small business. i enjoy this too because it's flexible with my school schedule and i feel like i'm helping him in some way.
