A President We Can Be Proud Of.

Nick

I don't understand why on this day that the World is celebrating the defeat of the Nazi's at Normandy and remembering the dead of the World. British, Canadian, United States and French are responsible for our freedoms here and across those countries. Yet, you feel it is ok to spout the perpetual Rushbable you so eloquently spout about the actions of President Obama.
May we have ONE day without that hatred? If you would do that, I promise I will never respond to another one of your posts.

There is something else I wanted to add to that post. Pres. Obama spoke of one of the war heroes who came to Normandy for the celebration got here sometime yesterday or before. Overnight he passed away in his sleep. But he got to come for the celebrations of his friends who died there.
Now, Alfie, I made that promise because I know he cannot do it. I am sure we will have many days of his ********.
Of course that will save me from watching Roseanne every night.

(I wouldn't get all wet n' moist, as iman does, but we have to expect some amount of excessive puppy love from some corners.)

Neither puppy love or mad dog lust, just a fair appraisal of Obama's performance in office.

I realize that some get wet n' moist only over Brokeback Mountain, Dorothy's plight on the yellow brick road or their own desire to be Bridezilla for a day, but some of us are able to get over ourselves and relate to the larger world.

Then, of course there are still others that only get wet n' moist as they revel in their own Boschian hell and savor their own bile and bitterness. (not that I have any particular Jubber in mind) :help:

Oh, I think he could bite the pillow and stiffle himself, but will he?

As to the Normandy landings, I've read a good deal about them. most recently Winston Churchill's account in his six volume book on WWII. I'll tell you, General Eisenhower (not related) had BIG BRASS BALLS, but his men? Even bigger.

I have to think the movie Saving Pvt Brian had to be a good adaption of the war, but have to believe it was much worse in reality. Yes, Those men had bigger balls than anyone on earth. Still.

^ Such Bitterness. Don't gt me wrong, you do bitter okay, but there are others who do it far better. Now wipe yourself down with a sanitary pad, dear. You don't want to go out in public looking like you've been gang-banged and cream-pied by teh Obama cabinet.

You forgot to mention Diana Ross and Michael in The Wiz. Ease on down the road, dude.

I have to ask this.
I've noticed lately that many people spell the word "the" as teh. Is that the new spelling? If y'all have changed something, how am I going to be a lemming for JUB if y'all don't tell me.
I get paranoid enough as it is.

^Someone tell teh Admiral taht post is a poor cover for deteriorating coordination.

Am I the only one who finds your "dissent is the highest form of patriotism" which you put at the end of all of your posts .........

to be totally hypocritical?

can't be the only one

The lust for Pres. Obama's every single move - and the inability to hear/understand any commentary o/w - is ...............

well it is

Seriously.

Because that's exactly what Obama Productions was using it for.
Well my last reply to this post was deleted, and it said everything I wanted to say.

It is really sad that you hate this man (and after that comment, you can't say you don't hate him) so much that you would disrespect the memory of these people so.

No man is so horrible to even think of such a setting as a prop and photo op.

I would call you a sad sad man, but my post would only get deleted again.

You forgot to mention Diana Ross and Michael in The Wiz. Ease on down the road, dude.

I don't know how I did this. I was trying to answer iman's post of Brokeback Mountain, Dorothy's plight on the yellow brick road or their own desire to be Bridezilla for a day. Like I've never screwed up. Hah!!!

I never use it myself...at least not intentionally!

But I can't help but recall I may have learned about "teh" on this very same board.

Of course, a few synapses of mine have been known to misfire on occasion...

It's easier for something like that to slip by me. Sometimes I try to speed read and skip over a lot of the crap. It works...|

I know right? I mean if this is all they have, my god the guy is doing a fabulous job. When Bustard was in office our complaints against him and his administration was human rights violations, wiretapping illegally, exposing national security assets (Valerie Plame), illegal manipulation of office for political gain, inept if not criminal negligence (Hurricane Katrina), and the list goes on and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on.

What do they bitch about now they have been removed from office? Bowing (showing respect) to a foreign dignitary, faux outrage over teleprompter tics, the President being "too cool", and other ridiculously trivial items. They just can't figure out why they were removed overwhelmingly from power. Hopefully they keep this crap up until the midterms, as they will lose another 5 to 6 Senate seats, 4 to 6 governorships, 25 House seats, and scads of local seats in various govt offices.

Hear that? That's the death knell of the party formerly known as the Republican party.

I do think some of these queens are doing it because they're getting a reaction. But for the ones that are legitimately against Obama and what he stands for, I say "how does it feel to see your country leave you?"

I'm laughing at them, Molten.

Blaa .. let it be told to you by someone right from Europe who doesn't get his news fed from the Fox-tube. Never in at least the last 10 years the perception of the United States of America in Europe has been more positive than during the last 5 months.

No matter what you think he actually does by travels and speeches like that - it still works in your nations favor - big time.

A good portion of the society no longer has a political party that gives a damn about them. You were talking to that portion earlier in this thread.

In order for a party to talk to them, they have to say all sorts of things that aren't tolerated in America like "deport Mexicans" and "Barack the magic Negro".

They got left behind. They're invisible to the progression of this country.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, they could walk into a campaign headquarters and go unnoticed. No one wants their votes.

I'd love to have this conversation with them in 15 years... My hunch is that the conversation will be one sided.\:/

way to group people together

whoever thinks the idea that Pres. Obama should be congratulated for admitting the holocaust happened is ............. a hillary supporter, a bush republican, etc.

because o/w one could not believe such a thing - is that it?

ur unbelievable

it's the typical us/them politics that you practice with all of your posts

which is not entertaining

There are people in this country who don't think the Holocaust was that bad or as far-reaching "as the Jews tell it". And it's especially bad in Europe. I don't see the issue with Obama actually taking people and governments to task about what happened.

And for the record, you Clintonistas and Bush-babies are sorely butt-hurt, as well you should be.

Hear that? That's the death knell of the party formerly known as the Republican party.

The Republican party is not going to die. It will eventually realize that to survive it will have to distance itself from the hardcore religious right elements, and it will do so. We've already started seeing this imo.
