A tock tock sound come from inside my bed room

Sounds like a leak, which will severely damage if you don't fix it...

i don't think so because when the main power outside is switched off, there is no more sound. So it must be something to do with electrical.

It's probably some electrical timer, maybe on the heating or some lights. The mechanical ones often as they get older start making a noise. If that is what it is then it is nothing to worry about. Older cookers have mechanical clocks too also old alarm clocks.

ahh ha, maybe you are right.
The house light can be programed to turn it on and off by itself but i hardly use it and forgot how to program it.

Yeah one light switch is faulty.

what contractors are you talking about?
Are they plumbers or a handyman?

Plumbers in the US have them, unless they're small time. You're in Australia so I don't know if that sort of thing is available there.

Since it appears it is coming from something electrical disconnect each sub-circuit in turn, via circuit breakers, or fuse box. This should trace it to the heating appliances or other circuits.

checked by an electrician, he said the sound came from the air conditioning solendiod (spelling).

Need to get it fix but not urgent.

finally the aircond technician replaced this part of the aircond.
No more tock tock sound. :)

Technician said people had that problem before.

the technician is an old short man.

Anyway, tock tock sound happens again but not as loud. :

I was startled by a weird noise a few nights ago in my bedroom during wet weather -- followed by an identical sound from across the room. Huh? But it went quiet.

Later that night as I went to the toilet I saw a small shape on it jump on the wall!!! WTF?

It was a small, yellow-green tree frog

^ One of the POISONOUS frogs, I think!

From your name you're in the U.S. somewhere I assume. I didn't think those poisonous tree frogs even existed in the U.S.?

For the OP: Before I saw it discussed starting in Post #31, the first thing that came to my mind was some type of electrical arcing inside the wall. Good that you pretty much know where it is now (the A/C), and that it's not serious or dangerous.
