Abba: Love Them? Hate Them?

Mamma Mia came on the radio today...I don't love ABBA, but I do enjoy them on ocassion,

I LOVE THEM!!!!! they were the best group ever! My parner got me tickets for Mamma Mia for Valentines Day last year and I totally enjoied it, I hope they make the rumoured movie version, especially now it seems to be a trend

I like them. Sad that this song (their best by the way, fuck the rest) was one of their last singles. Quite electronic for them, I love the synths on it. A great song and long to boot.

I agree!!!! This is my favorite Abba Song as well. Knowing Me Knowing You and Take a Chance On Me comes in at a close 2nd and 3rd.

Well, I wouldn't say I love them but I do like to listen to their music. Its one of my playlist on my ipod. My uncle used to listen to it when i was younger and I fell in love with the music. I have their greatest hits, and their dvd. I love watching their videos, they make me laugh.

I consider myself lucky to have seen them perform live in St. Paul during their only US tour. It was in 1979, shortly after "Voulez-Vous" was released.

Great show...lots of electric blue and silver spandex!

I like them. My favorite songs are 'Voulez Vous,' 'Lay All Your Love On Me,' 'The Visitors,' 'Take a Chance on Me,' 'Gimme Gimme Gimme,' and 'Waterloo.'

There's nothing deep about them, but they've got some good songs.

I never listen to them voluntarily, but when there's an ABBA song on I can't deny that the melodies are damn catchy. Way far off from my taste in music, but good songwriting can't be denied.
