Just watched the Kaden/Boyd episode ..... and I'm sorry - but I was extremely DISAPPOINTED the whole concept and anticipation of Boyd losing hi cherry was great - but the reality of this Video was extremely POOR and keft so much toi be desired. Dink has certainly certainly lost his touch completely. In general, I would say AD scenes are far more mechanical versus SC/CF. I suspect this is largely due to the nature of the guys being recruited. My belief is that AD has far more straight guys who are purely gay for pay. SC/CF has a much higher percentage of gay/bi guys who enjoy gay sex.

All that said, Kaden is still so hot. He is transitioning nicely from fresh faced young man to a real man.

ChaseO310 is completely right. This was a total snooze. It seems that Active Duty is throwing together scenes to just to get them out there. (Hopefully they will stop recycling content.) I know that Active Duty is completely committed to Kaden but I can't recall ever watching a Kaden scene that I wanted to watch again. In fact, I can't recall watching any scene from last several months more than once. Yes, Kaden is handsome. Yes, Kaden has a good body, big dick, etc., but watching him have sex is really boring. There are certain AD guys that could really make a scene happen. Shane (I agree), Thomas, Chaz, Jack, David, DJ, Spencer and so many more.

Unfortunately, Dink Flkamingo has lost his touch. He is also out of touch with the leaders in the industry and he's out of touch with what his consumers want. Something tells me that Flamingo did not nurture his key performers and fan favorites and now those guys have moved on. Yes, he brought back winners Chaz and Thomas, but where are they?

That Axl controversy did not help either. All of that time wasted on what turns out to be a mediocre performer was not worth the hit Flamingo took to his credibility. For me, AD has always been about peaks and valleys...never consistent. This is a pretty deep valley for AD and I don't know if they can rebound.

IMO,AD,like many of the other sites,lost its way a long time ago. The Axl diaster simply sped up my resolve not to view their videos anymore. He is still free to use him though,we are simply free not to spend $$$ on it.

But following rather regularly the heavy output of other companies like Helix, Bel Ami Falcon & Falcon Int., Jet Set... I often find a loss of quality & atmosphere there - the action, camera work, editing, sound... is meanwhile frequently weak & disappointing.

One main reason for this decline: the use of new & rather ungifted disciples. For example Helix boss Keith Miller, who did the directing & editing before 2009 often personally, let nowaday guys like the former models Casey Roberts, Shawn Fox , and others do the job.

And in the case of Bel Ami: well, I haven't seen so far one scene directed by Lukas Ridgeston - who is, among other projects, responsible for the Taboo & Skin on Skin bareback titles - which is all around felicitous, wherein everything: acting, camera work, editing, and sound are very well done. The same goes for former actor Dominik Trojan, now director at Vimpex/Hammer.


Maybe at Active Duty there are similar reasons. And Mr. Flamingo, officially still the producer, is not so much involved anymore in the daily work on the set...

Most sites try to one-up each other with better HD quality, hotter models and the newest acrobatic positions, they actually forgot what it means to make a porn. But since Mr. Iresch has sometimes already little success in presenting the bodies, faces & feelings of two actors in one scene properly, and since he loses frequently the perspective & track in his three- & four-ways, he is surely not among the most qualified men in the business when it comes to the filming & production of gangbangs & bigger group scenes. (The same goes for Alex Clark from Dolphin, Nir Rosenbaum from SEVP, Lukas Ridgeston from Bel Ami Chris Steele from Jet Set, Mike Donner from Dirty Bird, plus most of the directors from the Miami Studios).

Nonetheless, and following some statements of the Staxus studio promoters in the past months: is Mr. Iresch especially proud of his gangbang movies - and of his "well captured" cumshots (in general totally stereotypical & insensitive - and nearly never in combination with the face and the emotions of the climaxing model).

I don't know if you are in the minority or not ... I liked the concept of the video - in fact have been waiting for Voyd to give it up - but the concept and the reality are 2 different things ..... Kaden is gorgeous & and Boyd is BF material - but there was NO chemistry, no romance, no HOTNESS to this vid .... I have been sppoiled by SC, I guess - where I see hot mouth-mouth action, hot rimming, hot sensuality, etc etc - NONE of this was in the Kaden/Boyd venture - it was all mechanical, all scripted --- gone are the days of wet, steamy sex .... Guess everyone has his own taste/fetish. I don't like recent Sean Cody videos at all (I do like their older videos). I like these amateur videos just because they are amateur. If I want to watch fake moaning and faked passion stuff (no offense to Sean Cody and corbin fisher), I would go for bigger production companies. I don't subscribe to the Active Duty site but I've seen some of their vids via the 'aebn theatre' pay-per-minute sites ... I fear I'm probably in a minority because for the most part I can't really stand a lot of chit-chat from behind the camera, either before or during their scenes, as it's too often intrusive, embarrassing or just plain boring ... Having said that, and giving credit where it's due, there's one hot AD scene with Kaden which is right up my street (from An American Sailor) ... It's a dimly lit solo in which there's no chit-chat and everything's taken nice and slow, with no rush, and with the camera lingering on Kaden very nicely throughout ... So can anyone tell me if there are any more Active Duty solos like this one, with the guy in a dimly-lit room under one key-light, taking his time over a wank and showing his ass to the camera just like Kaden does ...
