anyone? what happened to the live shows? are they ever coming back?
 
While I cancelled my membership a couple of months ago, I still read the updates hoping that something might entice me to rejoin. There is no mention of the Live content on the updates and the Live schedule shows that this weeks shows have been cancelled. I guess this has happened for the past few weeks?

This is not the first time that Active Duty has had trouble with the Live content. A couple of years ago, a bunch of Live episodes from the Archieves disappeared. At the time, Dink Flamingo made promises that the content would reappear, but after a while, I gave up looking for them.

You might try emailing Dink Flamingo. His email is in the Help Section. This is another indication that things are not going well at AD.
 
AD used to be my favorite producer of all time. It was loaded with real authentic military men. Now it appears as though they find guys who want to appear in porn, throw a set of dog tags on them and say they're military. Some (not all) of these pretty boys were no way now how in the military. Even his newest DVD releases really stink. I wish things were the way they were in the beginning.

That ship sailed a long time ago. Throw in his recent comments and AD is on his way out. On a sad note,Active Duty Model DJ is now HIV positive.
 
Yup agree that the guys aren't that good like they were before.
The last guy I was really excited about was Brian (Aka Brian Austin), who I knew was on that MTV show Next and then on Military Classified and then some movies. He seemed like the last legit military guy on there to me. Even though in his very first video on AD he sucked and got fucked, I believed that he was mostly straight/bisexual due to his Military Classified appearances.

But now that he's left I really lost interest in AD. For some reason I just don't buy that these guys were in the military. Like some have said it just looks like whatever guys they can pick up and then throw some dog tags on them or even put them in a uniform and proclaim that they are actual military men.

The main reason I want to watch AD videos is because they say that they are real military men, but when I start to doubt that the believability goes out the window as does my interest in their videos.

I am starting to think that AD's days maybe numbered if they don't get back to their core ideal and not what they have sadly become.
 
One also has to keep in mind that some of the real military men he did use ended up getting caught. Things slowly started to go downhill after that but the last couple of years is when it's really shown.
Still kept it going but after the Axel mess,my choice about whether to resubscribe was made for me. I try to always give people the benefit of a doubt..but there wasn't really any to be made.
 
Do people still use this?

Brian retired per se. He's mostly straight, but I am pretty sure Major Hardon blew him a few times before he got into porn. He also got in trouble in the military from a CD who blew his cover. He was part of a group of marines that I sometimes got to play with that did MC and Dirk Yates. I'm sure Brian in the right mood and the right circumstances would let a guy blow him with no pay involved and I'm sure its happened in the past.
 
Brian struck me as mostly striaght but willing to fool around with guys even if there was no $$$ involved. I remember one of the AD scenes had not a straight porn movie to get him and his scene partner off but a gay one.

In my humble opinion AD has gone downhill. Most of the models aren't as hot anymore as they used to be.
And the same is with the filming of them. As to me AD has lost it's sparkle.
