I second that question. I'm not as bad as Rand on the Wheel of Time books, wanting to protect all women even from themselves, but unless one just drew a lethal weapon on me I can't get my mind around doing violence to one even accidentally.

Dude, I know straight guys here who trim their eyebrows and stuff -- and they're easily a decade older than you. You're coming across as some nineteenth-century aristocrat to whom women are objects and whom sees himself as the pinnacle of fashion.

I found the comment that gay people should accept all other gay people very interesting. Some gay men are just not happy with their sexuality, yet accept it is a fact of life. I could see many of them wanting to keep the traditional heterosexual male image alive within their lives, thus rejecting the more liberal aspects of the gay “community”.
While it’s easy for many to say, “Well you’re gay too, so accept my more flamboyant tendencies” it is hard for many conservative (perhaps homophobic) gay men to accept. I think the OP wasn’t very PC, but you all know what he meant by “traditional”. Most men do not wear makeup and thread their eyebrows (they may pluck or shave but probable not go out and get them threaded).
Given the wide spectrum of activities within the gay and straight community it is impossible to decide what acceptable behavior is. What JayQueer said was not PC like I said, but many of you did not respect his views when you went on your rants about how you like to dress. At the same time, it is great that we have so many strong and proud gay men willing to give an FU to the society’s social confinements.
I think Lambert really needs to lay off all the makeup; it makes him look like he is wearing a mask or something. The hair was fine. The boyfriend… not feelin it

Once again, JayQueer takes an unrelated topic and uses it as an excuse to criticize, demonize, and stereotype gay men in an attempt to feed his own need for attention at the expense of the community's self-confidence and safe environment.

How's that CE&P "Apology" working out for ya? Back to kicking the "sissies" in the face I see.

A couple of the clips were removed, but from what I hear, it's interesting. Perhaps it'll take me a couple more listens to get into the album. I kind of like Underneath, though.
