I agree with this grouping, but I would start old at 65 and add a very old which would be 80+.

Hahaha, erm, sorry but, In these 3 groups, yeah. These 3 groups don't adequately define age groups though. Because 26 is no longer young, but isn't middle aged, the same goes for any age up to about 32/33. There should be an extra group for no longer young but not middle aged

Subgroups would be adequate in this regard
