Amazing Race 11: All*Stars

Rob and Amba are back, eh? Are they still together? I never thought they'd go the distance.

I don't know why so many people hate Rob & Amber...I know that they are Reality whores...but I would be doing the exact same thing. They have made millions off it.

Alright - I am really starting to hate Charla and Mirna. They are two-faced bitches.

People hate Rob & Amber because they were parasites in Survivor. But this season in TAR, they are not so irritating. I loved Charna and Mirna. I can't say the same for this season. I am so disappointed.

I still rally for the Beauty Queens. Isn't it amazing that they both hardly argue?

Oh Kentucky... no one seriously thought you would win but I at least hoped you hang in a little longer. The Guidos on all reality should've lost last night they got soooooo lucky they ran into Charla and Mirna

Bill and Joe really pissed me off in Season 1. Glad that they were still far away when the other 2 teams reached the finish line.
Am now rooting for Oswald and Danny...soo cute and lovable

That makes Rob 0 for 4 on CBS Reality Shows then. And he's got no one to blame this time but himself.

Amber wanted him to do the Navigate detour which proved to be easier and faster but because Rob did construction he wanted to build a sign, shame he couldn't be bothered to pay attention to the spelling of certain place names.

By the time he got to the Roadblock, he just plain sucked.

Like wow.. I never thought it would be that easy to get rid of them. Guess they trip over Rob's ego.

When they showed the flashback clips, I wanna yell I miss BLAKE!

I was cheering last night when Rob and Amba came in last. It was so freaking awesome, especially after they lied to Charla and Mirna. I wonder how that feels for Rob, being beaten by them? I still want Uchenna and Joyce to win. TAR 7 was a great race, the first season I watched and I was hooked.

In an interview they said that they lost by 15 - 20 minutes, so as always editing made the outcome look closer than it was. Probably explains why Rob didn't hustle finding the letter since they knew they were last and unless TPTB had made this a non-elim they were toast.

Don't think so. When they were in Miami at the start, didn't Phil say that there were 3 non-elims along the way? It's just rare to have one this early in the season.

Phil doesn't always say the same thing at that point though. But you just expect "will be eliminated" until they get down to Final 6 or 7.

Just rewatched Sunday's epi and Phil said "may be eliminated" which made me fear the non-elim but added to the joy of the Philimination of Romber from my screen.

I guess that definitively answers the question about the non-eliminations. :)

I'm glad they finally left Chile/Argentina. It seems like they haven't been moving around that much. I'm glad that Uchenna and Joyce weren't eliminated. They're just good people. It doesn't hurt that I think Uchenna is hot too. :sex: It may sound strange, but I also think Danny (or is it Oswald? the shorter, darker one) is really cute, and I love the two of them together. Charla and Mirna can be grating at times and Mirna's "Interview voice" is just bizarre, like she's reading from cue cards and some of things she says are ridiculous, but this episode, I really enjoyed them. They were a lot of fun. When they're doing well, towards the front of the pack, they seem to be more fun and entertaining. They don't seem to handle stress too well though so when they're at the back of the pack and worried about elimination, they quickly become bitchy and testy and just not very likeable.

I'm rooting for Oswald and Danny at the moment to win the whole thing.

I loved when Danny and Oswald reached the pit stop in this last episode. They sure gave Phil a run for his money, didn't they? I thought it was a priceless moment and glad I caught it.

I don't want to be offensive, but why do gay men in reality shows always have to be so...gay? I mean the stereotypical middle-aged guy, with a higher pitched voice, hairy chest, and is so openly gay it's hard not to just gawk and say "Now he's gay."

Just once i'd like to see a gay man on reality TV that's actually, for lack of a better word, normal.

I love Danny and Oswald! They seem like so much fun!

Since TAR is a huge hit in Canada, there has been pressure to let Canadians compete but it has been said by the executive producers that non-US citizens will never be allowed to compete on CBS' Amazing Race. (There are other versions such as TAR-Asia) They do have to get tons of visas for the travelling they do and I guess I can see the advantage that all racers are from the same country.

There was no chance for the back teams to catch up after being stuck forever in Mozambique last night but it was foolish of Terian to just stay in line and not try other techniques to get further up the stand-by list.

As long as Eric & Danielle don't win I could be happy with any of the other remaining teams finishing first.
