I think it should, I mean, a lot of people will say no because this season was lack luster in the talent portion, but I can see it getting better.

IMO, season 4 was just, not anything special. We had good performances here and there, but come on, who did NOT know Carrie was gonna win?

I thought it would end there, but season 5 brought it back. It had talent, personality and everything. I hope season 7 can bring it back too.

You know tonight she didn't seem as drugged up as usual. Weird enough, she trashed people tonight. It was just weird.

The Tues and Wed night shows are the top two most watched shows in network primetime. Don't expect FOX to make any changes anytime soon.

well everyone knows it GOING to happen the question was SHOULD it... I for one am tired of it it's mildly entertaining but it sure as hell doesn't deserve to be the 1 show in America

American Idol is an entertaining show but I do think it's starting to show its age (thank God!)...unless something drastic happens with the contestants next year,I think this year marks the beginning of the end for this show.

BTW...go Melinda go.....!!!!(!)

LOL! She was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO fucked up last night!

I would love to see an American Idol: All-Stars where past runners-up and people who placed 2nd-10th on various seasons would battle it out for another shot at the title......

I mean, it's not like any of them have anything better to do........

I think it should come back for another season. I agree with xyboyms though, an American Idol All-Star type of thing would be quite interesting, there have been some really good singers kicked off the show that could definately do better than some of the winners.

As a UK viewer I've only tagged on for this season - the singers on AI are so much better than on the UK shows!
