I almost threw my sneaker at the TV. Casey's "singing" was almost as lazy as Britney Spears' recent "performances". I cant believe these judges. I guess they dont wanna look stupid after saving someone who then goes the next week. But they are beyond pathetic.

I thought I was the only one who liked Haley. They girl hasnt got a shot in hell since the judges are completely against her but I think she has talent. She simply doesnt know how to channel it always.

And I am so damn tired of Scott. I wouldnt be surprised if he wins. It would be such bullshit. But Carrie Underwood was able to country her way through the whole competition. Even weeks when it wasnt country. Why is it ok for him to a country dirge every fucking week but Pia keeps getting told she needs to do an uptempo song?

I have been a Haley supporter from the beginning all the while reading junk about her. I think she is the only one who keeps the tune and has a range to her voice that is pleasant and entertaining to me.

Lusk drives me bats. He was good on the first part of the song then destroyed it again and the judges almost called him on it but backed away. Stephen said " I liked the first part........" and randy said "I liked the first part...." so why in hell can't they say "Listen Lusk. You do everything way over the top and it gets tiresome. n top of that you go off key so many times because you're drowning yourself out. Buck up bitch!"

Ah Stefano was so good and so nice to look at. Tight pnts for a photo shoot. Gimme some.

Pia did a great job I thought and I like the reggae that Naima did. It wasn't all great but most of it was.

Paul is just unlistenable to me. WTF.

I thought Casey showed restraint a lot more than Lusk did, and it was enjoyable.

Yes Scotty will go all the way, I believe because he sounds the same every week and gets the same congrats from the judges.

Haley was wonderful as usual for me. Yet she gets no dues.

I hope Stefano doesn't go home. It would ruin the show for me.

Right? Neither Matt Giraud nor Big Mike (the two previous saved contestants) got any of that. The Casey pimping is at an all time high. Is slipintothefog a producer this year or what?

On the plus side, I've hated every single Paul McDonald performance thus far (even in the auditions) but DAMN tonight his sparse vocals and sparse arrangement totally worked! That was beautiful! It felt like a song Ryan Adams never wrote. And of course the one week I like him, the judges are tepid.

At least Paul gave one great performance though. I'm still waiting for Casey to do that.

LOL, believe me I felt the same way you did for all of his other performances. For some reason, this one worked for me. But I'm sure he'll go right back to annoying me next week.

I can't believe the 20 minutes of editing time expired while I was typing.

As I was saying:

Look at the judges: Almost a complete replacement. Randy is the only one remaining.

The three of them can't manage to say one true criticism.

Jennifer Lopez is emulating Paula Abdul to the best of her ability - this is not a good thing.

Randy and Ryan are forcing interactions like Simon and Ryan had, and it is so fake it is painful.

Steve Tyler is the nice judge, incapable of any true criticism.

The judges panel is disgustingly bad. I thought this Nigel came back to improve the show, not drive nails into the coffin.

The obsession over Casey is a nightmare - he hasn't earned a tenth of that.

Same goes for Jacob.

Paul is...Paul.

Thia is constantly too small in stature and voice for the stage. Stature is made up with using stage presence, but she's got none of that. She may have talent, but she just does not show it.

Scotty is well liked...because he does the same thing week after week. Judges love it despite insisting others "mix it up" every week.

Pia is one of those. She sings ballads that really show off her voice. Ballads are so far definitely HER thing, but they don't give her the same benefit that they do Scotty.

Lauren...let's face it, Lauren is love or hate and MANY love. Her cute act is wearing on me, though.

Stefano quite possibly knows his looks are all that keeps him there.

James has talent, but he needs work. He needs refinement. He needs to learn vocal control.

Haley's got some talent. I think she's going to be a dark horse, as she keeps getting overlooked.

Then there is Naima. Her talent is unique and many people are missing it. I'm used to that. Last night I liked the idea, but I won't deny it was off. She could very likely go tonight, keeping Casey and/or Paul and/or Jacob around. That will be a tragedy and I'll be left hoping someone else out there saw her talent and picks her up on it.

Truly, she shouldn't win by any stretch, regardless of talent, because their label will restrict her and that could destroy her chances.

Someone like Lauren, Scotty, or Pia is easily capably of thriving under that label. They have what the producers want. It really is clear. They'll praise who they want and used their only criticisms on those they don't.

All in all, there is unique talent but it is flying right over people's heads, and that is the truly unfortunate thing.

Remember that with all of that: Every single contestant needs work to be a star. I just don't feel like saying it every time.

Other than last night, Paul has been terrible, so yeah I'd be fine with him going. However, Naima and Tia haven't given a fully good performance since the auditions so based on merits, this wasn't a bad outcome.

The part about Casey getting a phenomenal number of votes made me sick.

But Naima's biggest problems has been learning to breath while dancing and singing as she can't lip synch. Last night was her weakest, I won't deny it. But I simply cannot agree that there aren't minimum of two other people to go in her place first.

Oh don't get me wrong, Lauren Alaina could belt out "I Will Always Love You" and erase everyone's memory of Whitney Houston and I would STILL want her off my screen first! That's how much I hate her personality and stupid face. And I'd have picked Casey or Paul (or both) to go before Naima, who I definitely like as a person.

But as a singer? She just hasn't been good in my opinion. She's had two good "breakdowns" in performances that were otherwise off-pitch. So she's delivered two halves of a good performance but never a full one for me. Her vocals have NEVER been good since she set foot on the big stage.

I really think that if Thia auditioned in 2 years...she might have made it further. She just needed to move away from her boring ass ballads...the one mid-tempo song she did, I actually enjoyed and she showed personality during "Teenage Dream" tonight.

This season was great until it got to the top 13. Now it's barely watchable. There's not one contestant I'm passionate about when there's usually many. I look forward to Stefano's performance just because he's cute but he's probably gone next week.

Would've loved for 2 other people to go this week. Naima mixed things up to make her performances different and interesting every week. The only other person who makes their performances unique is James. Thia had a very good voice but she doesn't know how to control it yet. It sounds like her voice fades in and out while she sings. Their performances are still better than the people left.

I can't stand watching Scotty, Jacob, Haley, Paul, Casey, Lauren, pretty much everyone left. Pia is a good singer but her song choices are boring as hell.

I think Naima should've stayed and Paul should've went though honestly, I haven't enjoyed any of Paul's performances to date, but last night was ok I suppose.

I get bored with Scotty doing the same thing, I'd like to see him change it up a bit next week I'm sure he'd still be fine

Pia's a good singer, love her and hope she continues to be safe.

James can sing, I think if he can get some vocal control he'll be very good.

Jacob is good, that boy can sing.

Lauren and Hailey are both ok, I really enjoyed Hailey's performance last night thought it was great.

Casey is ok, but I don't think it's fair the show seems to be giving him a sympathy look to the public and that gets him a lot of votes. Like tonight when Ryan said "if you knew how many votes you got last night, you'd be proud"

I don't like Lauren either, but I did feel bad for her when she busted her ass like that. Especially when that producer woman asked her if she was ok and she said "No". I fell down the stairs the same earlier this week. Thankfully no one was filming.
