That is such crap! Nick, gone and Sanjaya/Brandon still there. Even AJ did better than both of them. Antonella's still there too. VFTW has probably got a larger amount of callers than the number of fans. That's probably how Taylor won last year.

I agree with your post... but Brandon should stay. I like him and he's very attractive and can sing really well. Nick was going to leave anyway.. so it might as well been tonight. The guy has no personality at all, and really didn't stand out. Sanjaya is only there because of the "teen support" so he isn't leaving anytime soon... so get used to that.

I think its going to be a woman that wins this year. Definitely will be an African American woman. Because all the white ones suck this year.. and are only there because they are white and look good on screen.

While I'm still upset over how tonight went down, in the end I knew the people voted off tonight would have left at some point. Once real talent is being sacraficed because someone has a pretty ass, that's when this show just goes off the deep end.

I really don't think its VFTW that is keeping them in... People found out about those photos(it was reported on several news stations), and are just voting for her just to prove some kind of point.

I can almost guarantee that both her and Sanjaya had probably the most votes of the competition.

Not sure who will win, obviously, but I hope it is a female this year. After last year's debacle of Taylor Hicks winning and the south constantly voting in the American idol (I think all 7 Idol winners are from the south), I think it's time the rest of the country is represented.

She is my definite favorite, but I fear if she wins the show, her career won't go too far. I hope she makes it into the high top 12 and stays long enough on the show for folks keep her in mind, and that she finds a great record deal after Idol that will propell her career more than Idol ever could (a la Chris Daughtry, Jennifer Hudson, etc.) I mean, Kelly Clarkson only really took off after cutting ties with Idol and doing her own thing.

No offense to Lakisha, I think she is good. But like marty kinda said, she needs to get up there.

I mean where has Fantasia been? God knows I sure as hell did NOT buy here album. Last I heard of her, I saw her singing on some shit to Aretha Franklin (who looked like Jabba the Hut but in blue, so mean I know but true) and she will be on Oprah...sometime.

I don't like Lakisha that much, and I think her performance of And I Am Telling You was highly overrated. I thought mentioning her in the same breath as Jennifer Hudson was ludicrous. She's definitely got a good voice, I've just yet to see her realllllly show off her chops. I much prefer Jordin Sparks and Melinda Doolittle.

I really feel for Pedro. Hope he makes it elsewhere, I really dug him. Great voice, great presence, great personality. The fact that he was so motivated to come back after messing up last year shows his great work ethic.

Is there anybody on Idol that hit it big without making the top 12? Besides Billy Hung.
