wow...the girls were just bad last night....if this is a "girls season" as all the judges have been saying...we're in for some baddddddd singing tonight from the guys...lol

My favs for the girls though were Didi, Siobhan and Bowersox

and though everyone it seems hated Haeley...I kinda like her...but I think if she just does the same thing every week it'll get old real quick.

Congrats to Haeley for being the first person this season to make me use the mute button. What did the Beatles ever do to her that made her want to hurt them so bad.

Underwhelming as a whole. Crystal is still my favorite and likely will remain it for some time. I feel like a lot of teh girls just got swallowed up by their songs.

It was one of the dullest groups ever. Most of them sang like off-key robots.

I think Siobhan Magnus has potential, but she needs to come out of that dark place and show a bit more lively personality.

Slezak at ew.com has all but annointed Crystal Bowersox as the winner of the whole thing. I thought she was boring and frumpy.

Is it just me or did the judges seem severely bored last night? Especially Simon.

Anyway, I liked Crystal Bowersox during Hollywood Week, but now I'm just annoyed by her "I'm so above American Idol" attitude. I mean, I get it. She doesn't fit the cookie cutter pop star mold that American Idol usually tries to force people into, but it can't be denied that this show is an unbelievable opportunity for anyone who gets the chance to compete on it. She needs to just be happy about it and sing... which, by the way, she didn't do very well last night. I was underwhelmed by her.

Siobhan was good, but I don't think I've ever seen someone with a more boring personality.

Didi Benami was good. I can see her going pretty far. She has kind of a Brooke White vibe. I like her.

I liked Lilly Scott, but something about her annoys me. Maybe it's her hair. I dunno. Either way, I'm not really feeling her. She has a pretty good voice though, so she'll probably make the Top 12.

Haeley Vaugn made me want to stab my ears with knives. Good God... please send her home!

Michelle Delamor was interesting. I think she has a good voice, but she chose the wrong song last night, IMO. Hopefully we'll get to see her perform again next week.

As for who's going home on Thursday, I would say Paige Miles. Not only did she get no airtime before last night, her performance was sub-par and she was the first to perform during a two hour show. Not only that, but you couldn't even hear her during the recap at the end of the episode, LoL.

Also going home... Haeley Vaughn (I Wanna Hold Your Hand) or Lacey Brown (Landslide).

^^ I think Hayley will last a little longer based on likability and a lot of plugging during the auditions. She probably deserves to be eliminated but I doubt she'll get the boot this time out. I'm much more bored by Girl Who Went First, Girl Who Went Last, and Girl with Red Hair. I wouldn't mind losing all three of them.

The best of the night was actually Siobhan I thought, although she makes the most HIDEOUS faces when she sings. Crystal was the second best and Simon revealed his uncoolness by saying she sounded copycat when in fact the original "Hand in My Pocket" sounds completely fucking different.

I agreed 100% with this statement, god her voice is so fucking annoying...the only redeeming quality about her is she has amazing dick sucking lips :twisted:

I can't believe people still watch this show. You would think that after all these seasons and only turning out one talented winner they would give it a rest. Oh well.

watching the guys on DVR...so not caught up to the live feed yet...but I'm on Tyler right now...so far...not one of them have been remotely good....this is gonna be such a HORRIBLE season....lets hope the last couple guys are fantastic for this seasons sake

I missed the girls last night... Watching the show now on DVR... So far, I'm up to Lee. And yeah...right now, I'm a little underwhelmed. No one has stood out...or blown me away yet. It is still early, I think calling this season doomed is a bit premature.. I mean..the season is just starting..this is just the first live episode! Give it a little time!

for me for you....this season is gonna be horrible

but after my last post...Casey was pretty good...a little shaky but good....Andrew was good vocally, but not the right song to do that way...the kid with the mullet that did James Morrison, I like him...but they were right when they said it was a bit awkward cause he was so nervous, but i do really like his tone of voice.

Lee was probably my pick for the night...he did good...again, like Casey there were a few moments...but overall he was the best of the night


what the HELL did Toddrick do to Since U Been Gone....oh my god....ooooo and Jermaine....wow I think the WORST vocals of the night goes to Jermaine

I would probably have to vote out Lacey, Haeley, Tim and Jermaine. Overall I'm really not impressed with many of them so far, especially on the male side of things...there are a few hot dudes to look at though lol

There's no one to blame but the judges for the shitfest we see. They choose a horrible top 24 and let go of some really good people then bitch about crappy everyone is. But on the other hand it's like all the contestants picked the worst songs possible. Andrew was my fav and he makes "sugar we're going down" into acoustic? He's crazy.

Really? I Haven't liked him since the first audition...he's not terrible...but I just don't think he can really sing...I totally agree with what Simon said about him seeming like he just went to How To Be a Rockstar School

but who knows..maybe he'll grow on me

At the end of the day I guess Casey did best but I still don't like him.

I still like Todrick the worst I can't believe he did that to "Since You've Been Gone." He like completely removed the melody and just kind of spoke/sang it.
