You are certainly a troll worthy troll. You get like minded douche bags to agree with you, post stupid troll topics, and basically live for attention. Congrats to yourself. Congrats. I mean it......

streetblackcock, if you were truly british, why would you be withholding tea?

The disgustingly fat ones are on welfare with taxpayer-funded helpers to pull them around. They mostly stay at home. The not-so-fat ones go to the malls after 9 in the morning .

Again not their fault. Parents and schools are to blame.

Weight by itself is no indicator of health or disease. There are people at 120 lbs who persist in behaviors that will cause catastrophic health issues and people at 250 lbs who will manage their lives fine, into old age.

Your way with words is kinda beaudiful, like sweet semen down my throat.

This is precisely the sort of thing Americans get exceptionally anger about. Here, we consider this "nanny-ism" - forever warning of potential dangers and pitfalls. The American mindset is that we should be free to make such decisions without forever being warned of the consequences. Perhaps this is why Americans are so much fatter than the rest of the world, but I can guarantee you that many Americans would consider that a small price to pay.

I think I understand your point of view, but why Americans whine about their health costs and obesity rates if they think that is the price to pay for freedom ? I tend to think there is a middle ground. Selling junk food in schools is not defensible, it is only positive for food industry companies. There are American administrations like FDA which has mandate to validate the healthiness of new meds and new foods. So why should we (society) let people do something that is obviously unhealthy for the children ?
Freedom is a basic and most important human right (liberté, égalité, fraternité : you see it's the first word of France motto), but the freedom of oneself stops where the freedom of another begins, and Society may rein in in order to prevent unacceptable behavior, even at the cost of personal liberty (the old point of : even if I want to kill someone, I have not the freedom to do so).

The difficulty being in the tipping point of equilibrium, freedom to do whatever and fascist states that would prevent too much personal freedom. Obviously the choices of the USA and most of European counties differ :)

Our govundment took away our school vending machines, YEARS ago, I also think porshun size needs to be controlled, I hear ya'll can get like, superduper XXL chips at Mcdonal, dat ain't right ya'll .

We're a nation of hypocrites. :) We want the government to stay out of our private lives, but stop the gay agenda. We abhor the invasion of government peeking into our lives, and demand to know why the government can't prevent terrorist attacks. We want the government to spend like Democrats but tax like Republicans. (We've been doing that for about thirty years, which explains outpr financial problems.) We want the government to give us the freedom to make our own choices, but to catch us in the safety net if those choices turn catastrophic. We wanted to be treated like adults while we act like children. We want all the freedom possible with none of the responsibility that goes along with them.

^ we're not perfect either you know :)
French want the State's help for health/jobless money, but are very happy if they can cheat on their tax papers :(
We're hypocrites too :)

Explaining Americans to non-Americans is tough. To make things simple, think of a thing we American should be embarrassed about. Now, pretend we're utterlynproud of that thing. That'll at least get you in the ballpark. :)
