I didn't necessarily agree with Erin receiving the first call-out this week. In my opinion, it should've gone to Brittany.

Yeah, so Brittany is one of my new favorites. Her look is so high fashion, gorgeous, that dark hair did her wonders.

I felt so bad when Rachel was eliminated, she had much more potential than some of the other girls and she wanted it really bad.

Nicole is definitely the most high fashion girl this cycle, and if she keeps pulling out strong photos like this I am at least pegging her for the final three.

^Oh god, Super Smize was so over-the-top cheesy, even by ANTM standards!

Trust the Tyranosaurus to come up with cheesy terms like that. Remember the word 'Fierce'? I remembered watching a clip of the Fiercee award on youtube and she was like I coined the term FIERCE. Honey, the word fierce has been in the dictionary since before your mama was born all right?

Oh yeah, does Erin remind anyone else of Brooke C7?

Swear to God I was about to post the same thing, I was only looking for one of Brooke's old pictures to post it here for you guys to compare her with. I tend to think- why the hell re-cast the same looking girls? Is America really running out of great girls with model potential? Even under 5'7'? I really cannot see someone like Erin going far. Her shoot this week was more 'fierce' as in angry than 'fieeeeerceeee' as in hot.

And one more thing I can see happening? Is Jennifer's lazy eye will get the mention REAL soon, and they'll have to boot her out for it. I'm Asian myself, and I normally root for Asian girls on the show, and I STILL firmly believed that April should have won her season, but Jennifer? Sigh... I can't see go far, man... Too plain jane for me.

And previously I remembered reading a few interviews from past season rejects, saying something like, 'oh, the editor gave me a bitch edit' and thinking, you NEED to be a BITCH first for the editors to have footages to edit you into that bitchy role. But watching the call-outs this week, made me realize they (past rejected bitches) may have a point. Realize Jennifer's smirk when Bianca was called out for her attitude, and a cut to Brittany's smirk when Courtney was also in the bottom 2? That edit there made me think the editors really tend to make us viewers believe in more than what there really was.

And what's up with Ashley getting one of the first call-outs for the 2nd episode? What's great with her in that picture? She looks like she's in the 2nd stage of labour or something, all scrunched up like that. Hope it's not another case of Teyona or Saleisha again this season...

All and all, this season's is much much more boring than even the last one. I really don't know know much more I will continue watching the series... Kinds of bore me a little now...

Yes this episode photoshoot so so much difference than the first.

I think this was one of the worst photoshoots in "Top Model" history, tacky, amateurish, borderline pornographic, which is a contradiction.

Not even close! OK, it wasn't the best photoshoot in the history of America's. Next. Top. Model. But there have been far worse:

-Running from the "fashion ghost" in cycle 5. They ran on treadmills in out-of-style clothes, and the ghost of Miss J was behind them. Terrible!

-The 4 personalties in cycle 7, where the models had to pose for 4 emotions, or whatever, and the photoshop job was so crappy, I could have done that shit in MS Paint.

-Another cycle 7 shoot -- posing as a celebrity, and then that celebrity's boyfriend/girlfriend. Britney/Kevin, Demi/Ashton, etc. Ugh.

I'm sure there are plenty more. If I were a model, I probably wouldn't mind keeping the horse photo in my portfolio. I can't say the same for some of ANTM's past photos.

Aren't you guys seeing what I'm seeing here? Both weeks in a row Ashley had really crappy ass pictures. The first picture she looked pained, like she was either retching or convulsing or something and the second one, she just STOOD THERE! I mean WTF?!?!?!

And then Nigel was like, bla bla bla, the fact that it was the FIRST shot, right? Bla bla bla...

Come on!

Brittany surprised me, just cuz for the test shoots and 1st week photo shoot I thought she did the absolute no-no in Tyra's eyes- pose for men's magazines as opposed to women's magazines, i.e pursed lips, arched brows, chest jutting out and butt sticking out. This week she did surprise me, I thought she deserved the 1st call out, in fact.

Laura and Nicole are, to me, the underdogs I'm rooting for this season. I kind of wanted to put Rachael into that category as well but, hell, she got booted out, so... But although Nicole have that really in model look now (thin, waify, odd features, long limbs) and so far has taken several GOOD pictures, she's so... socially... awkward it'll be difficult to imagine her as America's Next Top Model. Think Brittany from the Jaslene's season (sorry I'm not so good with numericals) and that French cutsie from McKey's season.

IMHO Good pictures + no personality/social awkwardness = no ANTM title for you darling!

I totally agree with you about the fashion ghost and the four personalities shoots, but I thought the celebrity boyfriend/girlfriend shoot was kinda cute. Yeah it had little to do with fashion, but I loved seeing Smell-Gross all dolled up and completely in-character as Donald Trump. Even Brooke walking out as K-Fed with the corn-rows had me for a good hour or two.

I agree with you, it was entertaining to watch (like the way train wrecks are entertaining), but if I had to go on a go-see, I would rip it out of my portfolio before the client could ask me, WTF is this?

I could only imagine what those Spanish designers were thinking when they ran across those photos

I just watched the first 2 episodes on youtube... Oh my jesus... Its amazing. I have to support the short cause and TBH alot of them photograph long and tall which is good.

I like Rae i think, the ballet shoot, killer heels but rocked them better than beyonce.

I know bancia is a bitch but I love her look. Its strong and she photographs amazingly.

People said kate moss would never walk a run way and now that bitch has a solid gold statue of herself somewhere in london... Anyone else jealous? lol

Also love how much more plastic Mr J looks each cycle.

Oh and I think the reason they look tall is because they are so skinny (not in a bad way) and obviously the help of heels.

I loved the look on Bianca's face when Sundai told her that everyone was talking crap on her. I think Bianca redeemed herself somewhat this episode.

And I read something on the fourfour blog that is bugging me now. Ashley has a John Waters-hair-lip-mustache thing going on. All I can do is stare at it whenever she's on screen (although it's oddly airbrushed out in her photos)!

No complaints here, this cycle as it goes along seems to be getting better and better by the episode. It's crazy what they do with editing how I can hate one girl one week, feel sorry for her the next and want the girl I originally wanted to win to lose.

I agree. Although frankly I'm a little sick of the 'look tall' concept, as a whole this week's photoshoot was MILES away from the naked, straddling a horse theme for last week.

I'm kind of surprised with Erin and Jennifer, definitely not my favourite early on but I'm coming around to it. I thought both of them, plus Nicole, deserves the first call outs this week (all 3 of them took really good picture). Remember I said too plain jane in my previous post? It's cause' I live in Asia, and I have at least 2 friends who look eactly like Jennifer .

Didn't like Ashley right from the start, her walk was bad, and her pictures, including this week's, have been consistently bad. There's no doubt in my mind both Bianca and her should have been eliminated sooner.

By the way, hot FIEEERRRRCEEEE was Diva Davannah's walk? She totally blew me away!

Anyone watched this week's episode? This photoshoot totally redeemed the past few weeks of suckiness. And more than half of the girls produced good shoots.

By the way, did you see Nicole's picture? Woo-hoo!!! She did a whoop-ass job! That picture rouses such emotions in me like I've never felt before! Brittany, from her photoshoot, looks insanely good, but the one Tyra chose for judging was all right, ok at best. There were a few that she was looking straight in the camera, back concave, her arms arched, and the scarf floating across her face- to me- those few should have been picked.

At this point, my top 4 are Jennifer, Brittany, Nicole and maybe Rae or Laura. (Rooting for Laura but don't see her actually taking the ANTM title).

Also, those male models Tyra supposedly'discovered'? Juan looks just like any other hot, meh, guy (i.e. nothing special), while poor Miguel just looks emaciated. No muscle mass whatsoever. And therefore I dare say here, when it comes to 'discovering' models (at least when it comes to male ones... well, maybe female too- it's still debatable at this point) I've got to hand it to Janice. Guys that she picks out for agency are, in Miss Jay's words, MAY-JAHHH!!!!

To tell the truth, after 13 seasons back to back, I kind of grew a little tired of the same premise, the same setting, the same show over and over again. And the petite gimick- I didn't really get. How 'bout a season of manly chunks and hunky male models, huh? I mean, no one said that America's Next Top Model had to be specifically a woman, right? I actually read an interview with Karen Mok, one of the co-producers of the show, that during auditions, sometimes even guys show up. So why not, right? Would you guys watch?

You are correct, Nena was very nice at the beginning but she became such a bitch during the competition. Bianca is just a bitch in general.

I do like Biancas pic though its one of the best and Rae has a good one too but not the best. I think Ashely looks really short in hers.

Also tyra always answers the "male models on ANTM" question with " its a show aimed at young women so they keep it just for women. But I dont see why women wouldnt want to see hot men in underwear.

Btw, I was profoundly disappointed that the ANTM judges were making fun of Laura. Yes, the dress wasn't sophisticated enough to wear in front of a camera. Yes, Laura is a hillbilly. Yes, her grandmother has two first names but Wanda Sue made that dress for Laura, who was so proud of that. For Tyra and the others to mock and laugh at that revealed their true colours. I always gave Tyra the benefit of the doubt but now, I'm losing respect for her.

I agree, to her face tyra was like "its not bad, just not suitable for judging" then wen they were talking without the girls there she was like "what the hell was that"... shame on them.

Also I hate them for kicking off Bainca...KMT lol
