This show has become so old and uninspiring! Trya, please do one more season then end it. You can go on being the center of attention with your trash talk show. I don't even remember who I was rooting for this season. Give it to Jennifer. The point of this season was for an Asian to win. Congrats!

ANTM is becoming too predictable this cycle for my liking again. I'm over it.

Well this show and majority of the reality that have no public voting option has been rigged since the day they were made. As long as there are "judges" that are in charge of who wins, the producers can ALWAYS manipulate the outcome. Even America's Best Dance Crew that has public voting was rigged and manipulated by the producers.

ANTM is especially rigged. Tyra gets to choose which picture she wants to present to the panel of "judges". She can pick the worst picture for the girl who maybe had the actual best picture. I don't consider the winners to be legitimate models . Look at the track record, those who didn't win booked the best modeling jobs like Fatima (who should have been in top two with Anya that cycle).

But yeah, this show is more for entertainment and show that every girl should bow down to Tyra and worship her.

OK. Wow. I did not see that coming! Tyra actually pulled one over on us! Kudos to whoever predicted Laura and Nicole final 2 (unless of course you read any spoilers).

I thought Jennifer was a clincher for at least top 2. Does this mean Nicole can actually win this?

I'm an Asian, and for the longest time I was rooting for an Asian to go far in the competition. Probably the nearest miss to me was with April in season 2, but then again, the top 4 in that season, if put in any of the latest seasons, will win hands down. Shandi, Mercedez, April were all so deserving of the titles.

However, even though Jennifer has that so deliciously charming easy, breezy personality, I don't think she should win just based on her modeling potential. Yes she's taken good pictures, but based on overall performances, I think Nicole is more deserving of the title.

I think you guys saw the trend too that in recent seasons, when it comes to the final 2, the person who's most deserving do not win. More probably because the winner NEEDS to win. Think Saleisha and Jenna, Anya Kop/Rozova and Whitney. So I'm pretty convinced that Jennifer is in fact going to win this season.

Moe, I don't agree with you necessarily with last week's photoshoot. Underwater shoots is not necessarily a bad idea. I remember April's picture that season, where she was posing all Kung-fu like. Breathtaking.

Plus season 10, there was a photoshoot where they weren't all underwater but made to look so (the one Mike Rosenthal shot) and it was also amazing.

Erin and Laura will be eliminated next week, leaving Jen and Nicole in the final 2. And I think it's a done deal that Jen's going to win.

Speaking of bowing down to Tyrant, we have new (well sorta new) judges for next cycle. Andre Leon Talley-the crazy editor guy from Vogue and Kimora Lee from the first cycle are joining panel. Miss J.'s role will be limited to teaching the girls how to walk down the runway again similar to his role in previous cycles. Which is all for the better imho b/c I was sick of his random mugging for attention comments and antics anyhow. At least with ALT on the panel a little bit of credibility will be restored to this damn sinking ship of Tyrant's.

that's awesome news. i agree that Andre Leon Talley will bring some gravitas and credibility to the show and to panel. that's totally rad.

and i thought kimora lee simmons always had thoughtful, constructive critique - i don't know why she left the show after the first cycle (or why they didn't bring her back when janice "left.")

it'd be nice to see tyra make up for last cycle and giving it to this season's "weird" girl (who happens to be more of a model, in my opinion, than any of the winners since C9, excluding mckey of course). and unlike "weird" girl allison from C12, i think nicole has more of a model physique. and her face is made for editorial campaigns.

but i don't care either way who wins really. the chicks who dont' win but have "model potential" end up booking jobs in the end anyway.

but regardless, this entire cycle has been thoroughly enjoyable - not at all the "laughing stock" that people thought it was going to be. seems like this series is on the up and up... at least for now.

Doubt it. Laura will most likely become the first contestant ever in Top Model history to take the crown w/o ever receivng a FCO. A Nicole win just makes too much sense, plus she'd be better off losing this mess anyways. Winning Top Model is a huge jinx for promising models. Like bokan alluded to earlier, losers like Anya, Katarzyna, Fatima, and Mollie Sue were able to break away from the mockery that is ANTM and become legitimate top models in their own right.

Laura would be the perfect petite ANTM winner. Cute, bubbly, total underdog and seems as if she'd have no problem at all kissing Tyrant's ass while posing in the window at your local JC Penney's.

And they need to have these girls dance more. Oh wow, I was on the floor in stitches watching poor Nicole attempt a hip-hop oriented routine again. Bless her heart, like Miss J said-I give her props for trying.

Although with the surprise double elimination, I wonder how next week's finale is going to play out with just two girls instead of three. It'll be interesting to see how they're going to stretch that hour out. From the previews, it's safe to assume the CoverGirl shoot will be done as it's always been done in prior cycles. So I guess the judges will judge Laura and Nicole's performances during the CoverGirl shoot at the same time they evaluate their performances in the final runway challenge and in the photoshoots throughout the cycle.

But man, new judges. Just when I was ready to abandon Top Model for good, it finds a wacky wild way to pull me back in. I can't wait to see those two bitches Andre and Kimora in action. B/c they're too much to handle on Kimora's reality show, so I can only imagine how nutty they're going to be during the next cycle on ANTM.

Omg I agree. I'm very happy for Laura and Nicole but Nicole is way better than ANTM, she deserves more. Here latest photo shoot just proves it. She blew everyone away with her poses and her look was fierce in every way possible, she just has that image.

Laura is also good but she does not impress in person like Tyra said but in pictures she blossoms. I think she would be a good ANTM winner and would be a good role model to young girls out there.

BTW I hate the picture they chose for Nicole, I'm sure they had way better ones but I bet it didnt have a stupid wave in the back.

Wow, ANTM in a rare stroke of genius finally decided to live up to its name and picked an actual model for once. I'm in shock.

Wow, what a cycle. Hope Tyrant continues this new trend.

I thought McKey was someone that actually looked like a model and won. Well, she was up against double-chinned Sam, so maybe she won by default. I really thought Laura was gonna win, so I was pleasantly surprised that Nicole won. I hope the whole ANTM stigma doesn't get in the way of her modeling career.

And Gilles Bensimon must have fallen on hard times. He hasn't been part of the show in a long time, and he came back this season for...Seventeen magazine? Gotta pay the mortgage, right?

And what's with the shameless plugging for Edie Murphy's daughter?

I've only just finished watching episode 12 (FINALLY!). What a shock to find Nicole winning. Which is weird after the praises they gave Laura, making her sound like a sure win. I was blown speechless looking at Laura during the fashion show, especially the wind element walk. I was like whoa! Blown out of my seat.

I was just pissed that the girls were rubbing each other on the runway, soaking wet, like scenes out of a lesbian porno. Seriously, was THAT necessary???

Picking Nicole to win was a right decision for the judges, just based on her body of work. She definitely deserved it.

Asking Andre Leon and Kimora to judge will be interesting. I hope finally ANTM will head back to the route it took in earlier seasons- more about fashion and less about gimmicks and Tyra's 'holier-than-thou' messages. But I doubt it, knowing Tyra, it'll most likely end up being America's Next Top Model Season 14: Girls with a random hereditary disease and/or a screwed up, abusive past.

I was just clicking through pages on wikipedia when I found out that most of the girls from previous 2 seasons are signed modelling agencies and/or modeled in fashion magazines/fashion shows after the season ended. In fact, almost every girl in season 12 was signed, except for Celia I think, who apparently now works as a saleslady in a store in Manhattan. Weird.

Yes I was so impressed by Laura on her run way and when she took that sheer fabric off I was like DAMNNNNN, her face was fierce and she gave me chills.

I wasn't at all impressed by Nicole's runway performance her awkward walk might be her signature but it makes her look like a cave man lol.

I'm happy that Nicole won though she really would be a better top model, she is high fashion like Nigel said. I know Laura will be better for commercial if she works on her dyslexia, SORRY MOE I said it again haha.

I'm sure a lot of the other girls like Jennifer, Erin, or Brittany will also further their modeling career and sign with someone.
