Ouran Host Club - group of guys who cater to girls by acting very homosexual.

Paradise Kiss - Shoujo type anime centered around modeling and fashion. Very cool. I love the animation. And the situations are very real.

Nana - From the same creator as Paradise Kiss centered around music this time. Very awesome.

Shingetsutan Tsukihime - It was partly the dramatic editing and the music that made this enjoyable. School boys and vampires.

Steamboy - Steam, mechanics, and gears get me off.

Saikano (Saishu Heiki Kanojo) - Saddest anime ever. Period.

Romeo x Juliet - Very cool adaption of the classic.

Voices of a Distant Star (Hoshi no Koe) - Short 30 minute movie. Very emotional, simple but beautiful music. What amazed me was that only one guy did this. He and his wife did the voices.

Honey and Clover - Very awesome/cute shoujo manga turned anime. Very bipolar. Beautiful animations, real life situations.

Rurouni Kenshin (Samurai X) - I refused to watch the series after I saw the 4 episode OVA. The OVA has very beautiful orchestrations, the story is very deep, and the animation is very awesome. That and Kenshin doesn't act like a fool.

Beck - Recently got into this. Another music centered anime.

The Melancholy of Susumiya Haruhi - The animation in this anime is top notch. Very awesome attention to detail.

Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo (The girl who leapt through time) - A movie about a girl who gets the ability to leap through time. Very awesome animation and great story and heartwarming.

Yup, you've got some Anime fans here...

I watch Bleach every week, I caught up with all the episodes last Christmas, and I've been watching them weekly ever since. It's actually a kiddy show, but I might as well watch it, since I've been with it this far.

I started watching the Devil May Cry anime as well, it's actually ok, not as good as the game, but something cool to pass the time.

I just finished Full Metal Alchemist; it was really good; I wouldn't rank it as the best anime ever, but it was good though, I could definitely relate, having a younger brother and all, who lost our mother at a young age.

I loved Ninja Scroll, Princess Mononoke...

I think my favorite anime of all time is Neon Genesis Evangelion. It was just an awesome series, movies and all. Fantastic writing! I think it's the best of all time. The final movie was just awesome; I never thought a cartoon could hit so close to home; when you think about it, it's just a bunch of colors on paper, but Anime is really great..

Neon Genesis made me cry. It was that good. It made me think about life a lot.

Right now, I'm starting Cowboy Bebop, Gungrave, and Hellsing.

it seems like the Naruto Shipuuden episodes in Japan are coming out every two weeks which is so annoying. They didn't have one last week so I am hoping to see it up on tv-links by this friday. One can only pray.

I am so addicted to Shipuuden.

I just watched Grave of the Fireflies last night .... absolutely fantastic...

I love Miyzaki ... especially Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind and Spirited Away...

Has anyone noticed how similar Nuasicaa and Princess Mononoke are?

Howls Moving Castle was pretty good as well.

As far as serials I absolutely loved Ranma 1/2....

All of Miyazaki's girls are visually the same. If a girl doesn't have short hair in the movie, you can bet your ass that somehow, at some point, something will happen to her hair. In LaPuta: Castle in the Sky, at the very end, her big braids get shot off into a perfect short bob cut, and in Howl's Moving Castle, Sophie cuts off her hair.

That doesn't stop me from loving everything he does, though.

I've watched Evangelion, FLCL, Samurai 7, Last Exile, S-cry-ed and X.

Right now I'm following Ergo Proxy on FUSE, Noein on Sci-fi and I download Naruto every week, or every other week when it comes out.

I wasn't just talking about his female characters ...I was actually talking about the overall visuals and themes of both stories (Nausicaa and Mononoke)

To me both seemed like similar movies... But I have to say I loved both of them...

Nausicaa was the first anime I ever saw and it was the butchered version and it was in theatres...

People get turned on by different things! I have a friend who get aroused looking at eggs, as in chicken eggs! I don't get it but hey whatever floats his boat. I know many who are turned on by anime & I really see nothing wrong with it. Me, I enjoy those Tom Of Finland drawings & I have a thing for Popeye. Yes, the spinach eating dude! Go figure! We can't help what turn us on. It is what it is.
